Nico's P.O.V. (not my art)

Everything is calming down, and Chiron is letting us have special fun days, when the whole camp can just hang out. Today was beach day. Despite popular belief, I love swimming. It is one of the few memories I have from Italy. I am pretty fast in the water too. That was in Italy, and right now I have no bathing suit, and am scared shitless, that Poseidon is going to kill me. But I'm only going to worry about things I can control. So I go to Piper's cabin, to ask to borrow one. I knock on the door.

"Oh hey Nico, how are you?" she asks, smiling at me. I nod my head, in her direction.

"I'm good, um I was wondering if you had a bathing suit for me, I have trunks just not a top, and I need one right now." I said, blushing lightly. Piper, let out a small chuckle.

"Yeah, do you mind just a top, I don't think we have a one piece" she said, as we walked into the cabin. I have so many scars, and I'm so skinny. I'll look ugly, maybe going to this thing isn't a good idea after all.

"Veronica, you will look fine, your gorgeous okay?" Piper said, getting me to look at her. She's right, I look fine, confidence Nico, confidence. If people think you look ugly, it doesn't matter, because they don't. You promised, you promised Bianca.

"Thanks, Beauty queen" I said, and Piper rolled her eyes. We had grown closer over the few weeks, but no matter what I do I still can't get over that she was willing to leave me in the jar. Which, I get if I didn't have information would have been the best move, but I can't help it. Why am I so dense? Why can't I just get over that, and the touching thing, it was so long ago. I am so dysfunctional. Then Piper hands me a red bikini top. I look up at her and raise my eyebrow.

"It's the only one we have in your size, and red will look so good on you" she said, excitedly. If she really thinks so, and at least she's happy. Who am I to say no, if I asked in the first place. She led me to the bathroom, and I changed. It covered everything, but showed all of my stomach. I am really skinny, and you can see my ribs. My hip bones stick out, and my abs look wrong on my frame. I look so ugly, I hate it.

"Come out, I want to see you!" she said, excitedly. I scowled at the mirror, but opened the door with a smile on my face.

"Oh my gods Nico, you look so good" she said, smiling. I just nod, and then we leave her cabin for the showers. We have to rinse off before, we get in the lake. So we are separated boys and girls. We are about 9 paces from the shower room when I hear someone running behind us. I turn around quickly, it's just Henry, a Nike kid that recently started to talk to me. I give him a small smile.

"What's up Nico!" he said.

"Not much, are you ready for the, races?" I ask, semi- excitedly.

"Yeah, your going to be my partner right?" he said, grabbing my arm. I flinched slightly, but then I nodded. I told him I didn't like being touched, but he said, that he would get me used to it again. I don't know how to feel about that, but I don't want to loose my new friend. Plus he said that it was just so I wouldn't accidentally kill someone with my 'dangerous powers' he said. Then I felt Piper pull my arm, away from him.

"Actually Neeks, is going to be  my partner" she said, I raised an eyebrow confused. Henry just nodded, oh she used charm speak. Before I could say anything, Piper dragged me to the showers.

"Why'd you do that?" I asked, not really angry, just curious.

"I don't like how that guy touched you, be careful" she said, I was still a little confused but I just nodded. I turned on the water, and immediately started jumping.

"Oh my gods, it's so cold! Holy Hera!" I said, Piper laughed and I glared at her.

Will's P.O.V.

I was in the shower, with the other guys when, that Nike kid came in. He was talking obnoxiously loud. I learned that his name is Henry, and every second I see him I hate him a little more. He was aggressive, loud, and kind of just a jerk for no reason.
