Saturday was the first Quidditch match, Slytherin versus Gryffindor. The boys were all short tempered, every little thing setting them off as they focused only on the game ahead. According to Gabi, Saturday was perfect playing weather as the sun was shining, but clouds were in the sky offering some shade from the harsh rays. There was a slight breeze, but nothing strong enough to mess with the quaffle or snitch.

By the time Enzo sat down with us for breakfast, he looked ready to snap. "What's the matter Enzo?" Pansy asked as she noticed his mood. "I'm happy that they're playing a game they love. But, to be frank, they are so annoying when it comes to game days," he almost growled as he bit into a piece of toast.

"Mattheo yelled at me when we were in their dorm this morning for breathing too loud," he huffed and the three of us let out a 'awe' and I gave him a side hug for comfort which he accepted happily. The four of us were chatting away, eating our food when Enzo let out a quiet groan. "Here they come. Hide me before I get killed for drinking to loud," the brunette moaned and laid his head on my shoulder. I laughed softly as the other 4 boys walked up and sat down.

No one said a thing, not wanting to get their head bit off and we all ate quietly. Enzo sent dirty glances at the 4 of them occasionally, making the three of us stifle laughs. The quiet tension was ruined when Enzo made a face at Mattheo and Gabi choked on her food from trying to hold in her laugh.

Pansy patted her back while she coughed, and I almost spit out my coffee. "Can you like, not?" Mattheo said as he looked over to Gabi and Pansy. "Hey man, don't talk to her like that," Blaise scoffed and sent daggers to his side of the table. "Someone's grumpy," Pansy nagged, knowing it would get under Mattheo's skin as she smirked at him. "Someone's got a big game to win," Theo stepped in this time, but his voice soft as he replied. "If we lose this game I swear," Draco cursed and pushed his plate away from him.

They left soon after as they had to change and such before the game, leaving the four of us alone again. "That was scary" I joked and Enzo agreed with a laugh. After another 20 minutes, us along with just about everyone else in the Great Hall made our way down to the quidditch pitch. The tension was high, Slytherin students making snide comments at the Gryffindors and vice versa. There was a mix between the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws, some wearing green, some red, and some who just really didn't care and only wanted to watch the game.

I followed behind Pansy and Gabi as they led us up one of the many towers that surrounded the pitch, sitting dead center in one of them so we got the best view of the field. Enzo had grabbed small flags that had the Slytherin crest on them and handed each of us one before waving his fanatically. "It's a beautiful day for some quidditch. Today we have the first game of the season, Slytherin versus Gryffindor!" The announcer, Lee Jordan, called and cheers erupted throughout the stadium. "Let's introduce your Gryffindor team!" Flashes of crimson red darted across the field and the Gryffindor house went berserk. Lee Jordan introduced the team; name, number, and position.

"And now for your Slytherin team!" We jumped up and cheered as the emerald green players joined the field. "Blaise Zabini, team caption sporting number 1 and a chaser!" Gabi screamed her head off for the team captain. "Graham Montague, #5 and Cassius Warrington #9, the other two chasers for the Slytherin team!" "Cole Spencer, #10 is your keeper!" "Next up with have the beaters! Alex Skyes, #12 and Mattheo Riddle, #3!" We hooted and hollered as Mattheo twirled the small bat in his hand, smug smile on his face like always. "And finally, your Slytherin seeker, #7, Draco Malfoy!"

Our cheers erupted once more as Draco's name was called, mine a bit louder than the rest. He was easy to spot on the field, his blonde hair making him noticeable by a mile. "And of course, we can't forget our lovely referee, Madam Hooch!" The entire crowd cheered for the short haired witch who strode onto the field carrying a wooden box in her hands.
