"Are you still awake, Soojin?" She called out to her sister wearily placing her bag down on the table. No one answered making her relieved. Maybe she was asleep. She silently went over to her sister's room, only to hear the sound of soft giggles.

"Soojin?" She enquired but soon was encountered by Soojin and another figure whom she didn't expect to be here even for a moment. "Jiminshi? What are you doing here?" She looked at them questioningly. Jimin rose from behind the bed where both of them were sitting on the ground, and came over to her.

"Ugh, well... I came to talk to you regarding something... and I called you too... but, Soojin said you weren't home." He trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck. "I was just... having a good time with her after a long time... that's it. I hardly met her in these days."

"What did you want to tell me?" She asked leading him outside towards the living room. She sat down first, followed by him. "Do you know Uncle Song is coming back?"

"Dad?" She chuckled bitterly. "Huh, so finally he remembers that he has two daughters living in Seoul. What a pity Jiminshi, that I need to hear this news from you..."

"Yn, my father told me to tell you this... I don't know why Uncle Song didn't tell you about it himself." He asked, a little disappointed.

"He probably doesn't care... he's a busy man after all, leading a happy life with his wife and son." A small smile plastered on her face but it was not one of happiness, rather deep pain.

"Let's not think about that... tell me, where were you for so long?" He enquired as her lips curved up in a small yet shy smile. "I was with Taehyung."

"Huh? What are you talking about?" He was a little shocked hearing the most unexpected thing. "W-we just confessed..." she said, fiddling with her fingers and the smile never leaving her lips.

"What? Really? When, how?" He was just so surprised and happy hearing that. "I went to his house..." She told him all that had happened in the course of a few hours, how much she had enjoyed herself while being with Taehyung the whole evening.

"I missed something..."  Soojin trailed off bringing water for her sister.

"Did you finish your assignments, Soojin? I don't want to hear any complaints when I go to meet your class teacher this time." Her voice was dripping with strictness.

"Ugh... fine, I'm going." They had this understanding, she always knew how much her sister loved her and even if she scolded her, she would never quite be upset.

Yn turned to him. " We met Jungkook on the way and he looked a bit off-colour. Is he alright?"

"How am I supposed to know that?" He shrugged his shoulders and got up, ready to leave. "I should leave."

"Have dinner with us-"

"Ah no, I've got a late night date with Somi. I'll go to the bar, she must be waiting for me. Take care." He said, stepping down the front door and moving towards the gate. He waved at her, and quite unexpectedly, for a brief moment felt his eyes travel up the wall on the right, to a particular window on the first floor. He smiled seeing the faint glow coming from inside the room which meant, Soojin was awake doing her assignments. Such a sweet baby, he thought to himself and left, ignoring the slight desire in his heart to bid her goodbye too.

Soon after, Jimin reached the bar where Somi had fixed the night's date. He was excited to meet her, and a little nervous too. He went only on one date with Somi earlier but that was a month ago and even then it felt so unusual and charming.

Kang Somi was a girl with charming beauty, anyone could fall for her only if they didn't know her true self.

Same was for Jimin. He too fell for her alluring looks and lucrative words inspite of knowing how obsessed she was over his best friend during their earlier years in college. But the past didn't define someone's present when they could lie so very convincingly... and so did Kang Somi.

He entered the dimlit club with loud music blasting in the background. Looking around, all he could see was people, dancing mindlessly, swaying their bodies with the music after coming under the influence of alcohol. He went towards the bar to get himself occupied with a glass of beer until Somi arrived.

The bartender there was speaking to his colleague in quite a suppressed voice but unfortunately Jimin heard it. "Mr Jeon..."
The man said to his colleague. "What's up with him-"

"Lower your voice dumbhead!" The bartender shushed his colleague even though he himself was loud enough. "He came here a while ago and got drunk. He looked really frustrated and heartbroken-"

"Hey you!" The voice of a man from the stool beside Jimin interrupted him. He looked at the new customer and bowed at him, leaving his colleague and the incomplete conversation hanging.

Jimin frowned. "Mr Jeon? They weren't meaning Jungkook, right? I mean, he is a regular customer here..." His thoughts wandered making everything look complicated. Thankfully enough, he stopped thinking everything as soon as his eyes fell on the girl he had been waiting for. A glimpse of her made his worries fly away.

She was speaking to someone, and did not notice him. But he did, so he went towards her, with eyes never leaving her figure wrapped in a maroon bodycon dress.

He got up from his seat, slightly hypnotized by the woman of his like but a couple of more steps was all that he could take before he came to a halt, his world crumbling into a million pieces like glass.

He saw his girlfriend going closer to the man she was talking to until there was no more space left between her and the man. Even though the man looked hesitant to continue further, she held his hand and put it on her waist while playing with the collar of his shirt.

And then without the slightest thought, she attached her lips to his, kissing him hungrily until both were desperate to breathe.

Jimin froze in his place with several tears flowing down his cheeks. This wasn't supposed to happen. She couldn't fall so low as to make out with another man while being in a relationship, could she?

Well, he was delusioned. There is nothing in the world Kang Somi can't do to satisfy herself.

He stepped back in disbelief and immediately left the bar because he knew he couldn't see any further. Everything was visible to him, her desperation for the man with her. Only a fool wouldn't understand what could possibly happen later.
