Chapter 1Waking up M/n had a terrible hangover and a sore body.
'Honestly who knew Vampires were so needy, and insatiable...'
Ten out of ten would do it again, not on a weekday though.
He didn't recall the number of times he'd almost snapped at an innocent, her hideous appearance might as well be a sin, believer because of sleep deprivation.
He had been called to the front of the church by Father Seiji, apparently there was something urgent needed and it couldn't wait.
So here he was, at 5AM his hair was still messy, that after sex glow was really being put to work.
He side-eyed his adopted sister because she was also, apparently needed.
'I call bullshit, Yui was never called when the young training priests were starving. She was never called when angry protesting villagers have come busting down the front door.'
Not showing his hatred on his face, his cold e/c eyes looked down on Yui.
'Villagers claimed that the church was corrupt and that we were the reason the harvest didn't go well. She did nothing to help when our brother and sisters were bullied and outcasted, no better treated than criminals.'
He kept his thoughts to himself though something(his sober side) told him that, it wasn't the best thing to say right now.
Especially when the man who paid the bills cared for her so much, instead he tuned in on what Father was saying.
".... abroad....work...ou'll....live with at a friend of mine's house."
That was informative...but M/n got the summary of what was happening.
Father Seiji had to move aboard because of the situation with the church. He couldn't take the two of them, and could only drop them off at a friend's house.
M/n didn't know whether or not to be offended that Father Seiji thought he was incapable of living alone, or loved that Father cared for him, and Yui, that he would inconvenience his friend for them.
He decided on the first, honestly he was already 20 even if he looked much younger, he was well past being a child and yet Father lumped him in with Yui.
Yui was...naive...
M/n didn't hate her, he just didn't enjoy being associated with her, or being around her, or being her brother.
She tended to get caught in things that didn't concern her in the slightest.
That and she was incapable of deciding on what she wanted and she was always letting people push her around like a pushover, but that was partly Father's fault really, telling her everyone had good in them.
M/n shook his head, his long h/c hair flowing behind him as he headed back to his room.
He needed to pack after all, it also seemed as though his headache had miraculously disappeared by the time Father Seiji was done explaining.
