The Storm between us

7| Mall

I look towards the clock on the dresser beside me 5:30 great another night without any sleep I spent the whole night thinking Not even realizing what time it was

I got up and walk to the bathroom deciding I needed to shower

I turned the water on and turned towards the mirror

I took all the makeup off yesterday so when I look towards the mirror I saw my natural pale face

Ugly scars and dark circles under my eyes stared back at me. The ugly freckles doting my cheeks and A big ugly scar that goes from the top of my right eye to the bottom

I hated my natural face It doesn't matter how bad I did my makeup it would still look better then my actual face

I turned away from the mirror as I started getting undressed I did not want to look at my body not wanted to know how bad it is

I found a med kit under the sink

I was tryna so hard to clean the wounds on my back which was a difficult task considering I can't reach my back without help

I tried to clean my back in the shower but chickened out when I felt how bad it burned. I know if I don't clean it it will get infected

I didn't care anymore and decided to just wrap it which also proved to be a difficult task

I heard banging come from my bedroom door

Who was up this early? I thought as put my shirt on and went towards the door

I was about to open the door when I remembered I didn't have any makeup on which meant my natural face was showing

The person on the other side was now banging on the door
I decided to answer without having to open the door

"YES" I shouted

"Open the door" I recognized the voice as Enzo'a my second oldest brother

"I-I'm c-changing" I cringed at my obvious lie

"Let's go if you not down here in ten then you will stay here" I heard his footsteps walk away

I was confused where are we going
Oh yeah the mall Francisco told me about it yesterday but why are we leaving so early

I look towards the clock and was shocked at the time '11:44' where did the time go was I really in the bathroom for that long

I came out my thoughts as I realized what he said ten minutes I have ten minutes to get ready

I grabbed the bag of makeup and went towards the bathroom
I once again took the color that matches my skin more and hurriedly applied to my face

When I was done the scars and the dark circles under my eyes was still very noticeable

How did the lady's hide all the stuff on my face I thought as I applied another layer of the makeup

I noticed it started to look worst by the seconds but I didn't care I needed to hid every imperfection on my face

The scars was still noticeable so I went in with a third layer I cringed on how my face looked. It was still better then my natural face at least no scars was showing and the dark circles under my eyes were gone

I quickly threw on a hoodie not caring that I got makeup on it, checked the mirror one last time to make sure a lot of makeup didn't come off

I check the clock once again and say the time '11:56' dang it I'm late again

I went out the door and down the stairs I made it just in time as I saw Enzo walking towards the garage that I didn't know was there

"You should be lucky I didn't leave you and made you walk the way" he sneered towards me

"S-sorry won't happen again" I told him
He just rolled his eyes at me

I followed him in the garage and was shocked at how many cars there was and wondered how big this garage was to have so many cars

"Let's go" he growled at me
I snapped out my amazement and follow him towards a black car

I open the backed door and made myself into the car as Enzo got into the drivers seat

"WAIT FOR ME" I heard a kid voice yell

I look towards where the voice came from and saw the little boy Amadeus I think was his name running towards the car he suddenly fell

I was about to get out the car to check on him when he suddenly yelled "I'm okay I'm okay" he finally made it to car

"Am you were supposed to go with rose and Kai" Enzo told him

Wait rose and Kai were going to the mall too great the two people who hated me

"I know but they left me cause I overslept" he pouted "so now you get the pleasure of me coming with y'all" he smiled

"Just get in before I change my mind" he told him

"Yay" he said as he got in the car
"Hey Reign your coming too" He turned towards me
"Yea" I told him

"Well since it's just the two of us and it's going to be a while before we get there you wanna play games on our phones" he asked me as he took out his phone

"I don't have a phone" I told him as I made eye contact with Enzo thru the rear view mirror

"What! who doesn't have a phone?" He asked me "welp it doesn't matter since we can just play on my phone" he told me as he scouted closer to me
And chose a random game on his phone

He had to teach me how to play almost every game on his phone since I never really played a game before or always I don't remember how before we finally made it towards the mall

It was actually really fun playing with him and he got me to smile once or twice

I also noticed Enzo kept looking at us though the rear view mirror

We got out the car as we made our way towards the entrance of the mall where we meet rose and Kai

"Finally you guys took forever" Rose said I noticed she was looking everywhere but at me

"Yeah yeah let's just go in" Amadeus said as he stick his tongue out at both rose and Kai and grabbed my hand catching me off guard as he pulled me into the mall

He went into a store called 'GameStop' and stated that if I liked the games on his phone I would love this store
