Gagamaru's whole body stiffens as he hears you call him by his first name for the first time.
"W-what did you just call me?", he gasps in surprise.
"Gin.", you respond with a little confusion in your voice. "Isn't that your name? S-sorry, I didn't know that I'm not allowed to call you tha-"
Before you could finish, Gagamaru interrupts your apology, "No, no, no! You are allowed to call me whatever you want. It's just...", he says, looking away with an awkward smile and a little blush on his face, "It's just that no one really calls me by my first name. All of my other friends call me Gagamaru, so...", he chuckles, rubbing the back of his head.
"Oh, I see! Then I'll be the one to call you Gin from now on.", you say with a wide smile on your face.
Gagamaru simply stares at you, his cheeks however turning red at the warmth of your smile. "Sure...", he says, looking down on your plate. "Please, eat now.", he urges, sitting down next to you.
"Oh, yeah! My bad...", you say with an embarassed chuckle. Gagamaru carefully watches you with a tense impression, as you take a bite into the food he made for you.
"Mmh~ Woah, you made that?!", your eyes widen at the incredible taste blessing your tastebuds. Gagamaru silently nods with a slight smile creeping on his lips.
The silence grows louder as you both quietly sit in peace, Gagamaru watching you from the side of his eye. Suddenly, the silence breaks, as you take the last bite and swallow.
"Absolutely delicious! Thank you for the meal!", you say enthusiastically. "Now let's hope you really didn't drug me~", you say with a sly smirk, hitting Gagamaru's arm with your elbow jokingly.
"N-no, not atall!", he says nervously.
"Come on, I know! Also... if you ended up doing that, I'd perhaps have your whole football career cancelled.", you tell him with a serious look on your face, staring straight into his eyes. Gagamaru's eyes widen, not at what you said, but at you being so close to his face out of nowhere.
