"Just say yes, Rain." Payu whispered as their lips were just inches away.

"Stop." Rain suddenly said making Payu look back at him.

Rain then swallowed hard as he placed his hand on Payu's chest. Rain lightly pushed the man away as Payu was left confused.

"Give me more time to think about it." Rain then said as he got up and walked to his bed.

More time? Payu doesn't have more time and he needs to make Rain accept the deal or he'll end up going back without getting anything done. Payu was only able to come here because Rain accidentally summoned him but if his time runs out, the chances of having Rain summon him again is too thin.

"Well... I guess I can't do anything now." Payu suddenly said as he laid on the couch making Rain turn to him.

"Huh?" Rain asked as Payu placed his arm over his eyes, looking so lax with the position he's in.

"I'd probably end up dead in three hours." Payu said making Rain's eyes widened.

Feeling concerned, Rain walked to where Payu was and stood just beside him.

"Wh-what do you mean dead? Demons don't die, right?" Rain asked as the latter let out a heavy sigh.

"We don't... in our realm, that is." Payu said and Rain felt more worried.

"Th-then go back to your realm!" Rain said as Payu sat up before looking up at him.

"I can't because I'm out of energy, duh? I already told you, I can only feed on your lust." Payu said as Rain tried to think.

"Other people! I'm not the only one with lust so you can go to—"

"No can do, mister. I can only feed on you." Payu cut him off making Rain feel suspicious.

"And why is that? It's not like I'm any different." Rain asked.

"Well... since I got a taste of the best, I can't take in other flavors. I keep craving for your taste, Rain." Payu said making Rain blush and look away.

It didn't make sense but if what Payu said was true, the only one that can help Rain would end up dead for good.

"H-how long... before you die?" Rain asked and Payu felt hopeful.

"Dawn." Payu said as Rain turned to the clock, approximately three hours till then.

Rain can't help but panic. Three hours is not enough to make a decision like this.

"Wait. Then why are you so calm?" Rain asked as Payu let out a smile.

"At least I got to see you. Passing by your choice would be the best death." Payu said before leaning against the back rest and looking at the window making Rain stare at him.

This is annoying. For someone like Rain, seeing how Payu's taking his life for granted is unforgivable. Be it a demon or human, one should cherish the gift of life and fight for it until the end.

"You... how annoying." Rain couldn't help but say, almost cursing at the latter.

"I know, right? If only you could—" Payu paused as he turned to look at Rain.

"How can you be like this when your life is on the line?" Rain said as tears began falling from his eyes making Payu stand up.

"H-hey, I was just kidding." Payu said but it only made Rain cry harder to the point of not hearing the latter's words.

Payu started to panic as he watched the crying Rain. Too much for teasing Rain, Payu ended up making him feel bad once again. Left with no choice, Payu hugged Rain tight as he caressed the latter's back in an attempt to calm him down.
