The Gems escape from HomeWorld~ A Steven Universe fanfic

Chapter 1; About the Home World planet, and how a new era began.

On HomeWorld, many believe that the three orbs in the sky were moons. A big red one, named Malafiace. A smaller pinkish one named Oracle. And a very small blue and green one that has yet to be named. No one payed attention to this one because of how small it is. Rose Quartz knew there was more to it though.

Every night Rose would sneak out and go to a cliff she had found a few years back. She would pack a small basket of snacks and start out. It was no secret that, although she was loved by most everyone, Rose Quartz did not belong there. She wanted more. When she sat on that cliff she felt like she could reach for anything.

One night when Rose snuck out, she felt something was off. Something was wrong and she could feel it deep in her gem. She looked around alarmed while heading to the cliff. And to her surprise when she got there, right before her eyes, two very small girls were already there. Their backs facing her, holding hands.

"I knew something was off about the atmosphere around here!" Rose exclaimed sitting next to them. The two gems looked Roses way. "It's been a while hasn't it." Said the little red one. "How are you Rose Quartz?" Asked the little blue one. Rose sighed. "I am fine. I was wondering where you two had been."

They giggled and sighed. Rose looked up at the stars. "Ruby..Sapphire, How was it? Were there creatures we don't have on Home World? Was there a large lake of water like I think there is?" Rose suddenly started asking. The little red one, Ruby, smiled with stars in her eyes. "There's a HUGE bed of water there! I think it was called a uhm....oshon?" She said excitedly looking at Sapphire, the little blue one. "Its called an ocean." She began in a soft voice. "Its a large bed of water that's not really drinkable and it holds millions of creatures at the top and at the very bottom. It gets unruly and creates storms of different kinds and even has smaller plots of lands in it. Volcano's too."

Rose looked up and smiled. "Does it have a name? The star I mean." She asked. Ruby nodded. "Its called Earth. Strange name, but cool." Sapphire smiled. "We didn't cover much since we were fused, but we learned much from their library." Ruby scoffed. "If you call THAT a library! It only had so many books to fill one small room!" Rose, in awe, gasped. "A library... I'd love to-..." She paused. Ruby looked behind them. "We are not alone anymore." Sapphire said getting up. She held out her hand to the distance as rose and Ruby prepared for battle. "No need to be shy. Rose doesn't approve of the meet ritual either. Elmiza of Home World." Sapphire smiled and curtseyed. Ruby and Rose, confused but trusting of Sapphire, put their stances aside and sat back down.

Elmiza and Zelah stepped out from behind a giant rock. Elmiza scratched the back of her head. "I...uh...I didn't...we didn't..." She quickly bowed with her sister. "We didn't mean to listen to your conversation!" They simultaneously yelled. Rose stood back up quickly and ran to Elmiza and Zelah. Taking Elmiza's hand, shesmiled. "You are the one they call Elmiza correct?!"
