"Haerin's POV"
After the little escapade we had in the morning, I'm on the way to Kim's Co with the CEO herself, Kim Minji. I'm not going to lie that I wasn't nervous because honestly a few days back, I was just here as a normal interviewee and now I'm someone who is their boss's fiancée. I sigh nervously, nothing could go wrong right? A hand gently grabs mine as I turn and look at Minji.
"You'll be fine Kang. I promise, but I need you to promise me something."
"Hmm?"
"Whatever it is, I need you to trust me when we reach the company. Whatever I say, whatever I do, whatever happens, I need you to trust me and only me. Can you do that?"
What did she mean by that? Only trust her? What's going on? What's going to happen? Aren't we just going to go around the company?
"Okay Minji... I guess I'll try to do that."
Once we arrive at the company, Minji's face take a 180 degree change into the cold and cruel CEO everyone knew her for, as she walk into the company, I rush to keep up as everyone that she pass by would stop and bow a full 90 degree until she walks past them.
"So this is the Kim Minji?" I thought to myself.
In the lift, Minji is busy discussing the merger with Park securities with the director of the company, Director Kim. she is a girl that's "slightly" shorter and older than Minji, but that didn't stop her from being one of the most charming girl you would ever meet. The lift door opens as we head towards the conference room for the meeting until Minji stops abruptly.
"Director Kim, you stay outside with Kang Haerin-ssi. She's going to be my personal assistant so you have to bring and guide her through the various standard of procedures. Also, introduce her to the people you deem as necessary and I'll check once the meeting ends. That's all."
And with that she pushes the door open and went in without taking another look. Director Kim turns to me and smiles at me. "Hi! I'm Kim Chaewon! You can call me Chaewon when there isn't anyone around. So I heard you will be Minji's new personal assistant, poor you..."
"Why's that?"
"Well haven't you heard the rumors? She's cold, cruel, mean and harsh on everyone else in the company."
"Yeah, she's infamous for that."
"Well it's true. When it's at work, you will never find nice Minji, so you're on you're own for that... But on the other hand, you might be an exception so who knows? I've never seen her treat anyone like how she treats you."
"How she treats me?"
"Yep, It's for you to find out though. Now follow me, we need you filled up with the knowledge she expects you to know before she skins me alive."
I nod and follow her, nervous and afraid of the people I'm about to meet. Just so you know I'm a total introvert... I don't like meeting people, I don't like crowds and parties... Ugh, why do I have to meet new people, but I guess knowing that Minji knows these people too helps a little even though I'm afraid... The people Minji have in the company can't be that bad right?
As the hours passes by, I finally realize the reason behind the company's success, the employees here were CRAZY. And by that I mean they were literally insane, when Director Kim brought me around to introduce me, all I got was a simple hello and they went back to their work. When it was lunch time, everyone was eating at their seat with home-packed meal while doing their work. Every table had at least three cups of coffee and they looked like they had been working the whole day when its only 3pm.
