“Hum ek dusre se alag nahi rahenge,” they replied in unison, their expressions resolute.

“Aur Vaani yahan nahi rahengi!” Manav and Rekha declared simultaneously, drawing a sigh from Shivank, who exchanged a worried glance with Vaani.

“Vaani Somnath jayengi, but with Unnati,” Manav announced firmly, shooting a warning glance at Rekha, who returned it with equal intensity.

Shivank, tense, got up from the bed, stepping toward Manav. “Par Manav—”

Manav looped an arm around Shivank’s shoulder, steering him out of the room. “Main nahi reh sakta Vaani ke bina!” Shivank whispered, his voice almost a plea.

Manav sighed, pressing his lips together. “Tere liye main bhi tyag de raha hoon na?” he said softly, knowing he was sending his own wife away too.

“Par I have a bad feeling about this…” Shivank murmured, anxiety evident in his tone.

Manav exhaled deeply, searching for words that might convince him. “Tu chahta hai teri beti ya beta iss ghar mein ho?” he asked, gesturing around with a look of disdain.

“Kya problem hai? We feel at home here,” Shivank countered, glancing around the place he held dear.

“You feel at home with each other—not because of this place.” Manav’s words hit a nerve, and Shivank looked around the hall, memories flooding him. His hand brushed the couch. “But… this is the place we fell in love.”

Manav sighed, his voice gentle but firm. “Shivank, don’t be emotional. Be practical. You can’t live in a 1BHK forever.”

Shivank sighed, rubbing his forehead. “Fine,” he relented. “But… I want Vaani for the whole day. Just the two of us. I don’t know fir kab milenge.”
