Season 1, Episode 2

Everyone was in the coffee house.

"What you guys don't understand is, for us, kissing is as important as any part of it.", Monica explained.

"Yeah, right! You're serious?", Joey was bewildered.

"Oh, yeah.", Phoebe nodded her head.

"Everything you need to know is in that first kiss.", Rachel said.

"Absolutely."

Right then, Maeve walked into Central Perk, going up to the counter to get some lemonade, and sitting down beside Monica.

"Hi honey.", Monica greeted.

"Hi what're we talking about?", Maeve questioned.

"Kissing.", Monica raised her eyebrows a few times.

Maeve laughed and pulled out her sketchbook, after waving hello to everyone. She halfway listened to the conversation while drawing.

The group was now at Monica and Rachel's watching tv. Maeve was leaned into Phoebe's side on the couch, her feet up on the coffee table.

"Oh I think this is the episode of Three's Company where there's some kind of misunderstanding.", Chandler thought out loud.

"Oh then I've already seen this one.", Phoebe switched the channel.

In the kitchen, Monica was rushing around.

"Are you through with that?", she grabbed Joey's drink from out of his hand as he was drinking it.

"Yeah, sorry, the swallowing really slowed me down.", he glared at her.

"Whose little ball of paper is this?", Monica scolded.

"Oh uh that would be mine. See I wrote a note to myself then realized I didn't need it anymore, so I balled it up and..", he trailed off once he saw Monica's glare.

Maeve looked to her worriedly.

"She's already fluffed that pillow, Monica you already fluffed that!", Phoebe said.

"Mon are you okay?", Maeve asked, getting up off the couch.

"Look, I'm sorry guys. I just don't wanna give them any more ammunition than they already have.", Monica sighed, talking about her parents visiting.

"Yes and we all know how cruel a parent can be about the flatness of a child's pillow."

Monica ignored him continuing to rush around the apartment fixing little things.

"Monica- Hi! Um you're scaring me. You're like all chaotic and twirly. And not in a good way.", Phoebe exclaimed.

"Yeah calm down you don't see Ross getting all chaotic and twirly every time they come.", Joey reasoned.

"That's because in their eyes Ross can do no wrong. He's the prince. Apparently they had some big ceremony after he was born.", Monica rolled her eyes.

"Ew ew ew ew ew!", Chandler exclaimed pointing out the window.

"Ugly Naked Guy got a thigh master."

"Ewww.", the collective yelled.

Rachel burst into the apartment.

"Has anyone seen my engagement ring?"

"Yeah, it's beautiful!", Phoebe smiled.

"It really is!", Maeve agreed.

Rachel started moving all the pillows around, and Phoebe panicked.

"No don't touch those!"

"Oh like I was dreading this enough. I'm gonna have to return the ring, without the ring, which makes it so much harder!", she cried.
