Season 1, Episode 4

Everyone but Joey was sitting in Central Perk.

"If I were omnipotent for a day, I would want world peace, no more hunger, good things for the rainforest.... And bigger boobs!", Phoebe added to the discussion.

"Yeah see you took mine. Chandler what about you?", Ross teased.

"Uh, if I were omnipotent for a day, I'd make myself omnipotent forever!"

Maeve groaned before taking a sip of her lemonade. Everyone rolled their eyes at Chandler.

"There's always that guy. 'If I had a wish, I'd wish for three more wishes!'", Rachel exclaims.

Just then Joey walked in, and he was greeted by the friends.

"Hey Joey, what would you do if you were omnipotent?", Monica asked.

"Gee I'd probably kill myself."

"What?"

"Excuse me?"

"Hey if little joey's dead, I've got no reason to live.", he explained.

"Uh, Joey, OMnipotent.", Ross clarified.

"You are? Ross, I'm sorry."

Ross, Monica, Maeve, and Phoebe were now in Central Perk. And Phoebe was asleep in the middle of all the loud noises.

"How does she do that?", Monica asked Ross.

"I cannot sleep in a public place.", Ross replied.

"Sadly, I can't either.", Maeve frowned.

"Would you look at her, she is so peaceful!"

Just then Phoebe abruptly woke up.
"Oh what! What! Oh... hey."

"It's okay, you just nodded off again.", Ross reassured.

"It's our grandma's fault.", Maeve rolled her eyes. "She used to never be home, now she keeps us both up."

"Ugh our grandma has this new boyfriend, and they're both kind of insecure in bed.", "and deaf!", Maeve chimed in.

Phoebe nodded and continued, "So they're constantly like having to reassure each other that they're having a good time. You have no idea how loud they are!"

"Well, if you want you can stay with me and Rachel tonight?", Monica offered, looking at Maeve and Phoebe.

"Thanks!", Phoebe smiled.

"Ok! I'll be with Tate the rest of the day, but I'll come join you guys tonight.", Maeve smiled.

Maeve hugged her sister goodbye, and waved to Monica and Ross, and walked to the door. She was met with Chandler and Joey walking in.

"See I told you! Less than 100 steps from our place to here!", Joey exclaimed, nodding a hello to Maeve.

"You got too much free time, where you going M?", Chandler asked.

"Tate's! I'll see you guys later, bye!"

Maeve walked into the hallway of her boyfriend's apartment building and looked for his door. When she saw it she smiled and knocked. She truly needed time alone with him, it had been almost a month since they had even gone on a date. They weren't going on a date today, but they were hanging out together and that was enough for her. He opened the door and pulled her in fast. She jumped from the sudden movement and was about to ask what was happening, when he put his finger over his lip, indicating that she needed to be quiet. She obeyed, but furrowed her eyebrows. Once he had looked through the peephole for a minute or two he let out a breath, and nodded to her that she could talk.

"What the hell? Are you a criminal or something now?", Maeve almost yelled, confused.

"No no, Janice just moved in the apartment across from mine. The Janice. She keeps asking me about Chandler and I ran out of excuses. I'm trying to avoid her.", Tate explained, grabbing Maeve's hand and pulling her onto the couch with him.
