Chapter Seventeen: C.C.'s Addiction

We had went up to where Brooke and Rikki were staying in a cabin for Brooke's birthday, it was great and I laid in bed while C.C. was downstairs, I couldn't go back to sleep and I just listened to C.C. play his guitar, I could hear it all the way up here.

I put a hand on my stomach and felt little Cecelia kick, I smiled and got up from bed, holding my stomach I went downstairs to see C.C playing his guitar, I smiled "Hey C.C" I said, he quickly wiped his nose and looked back behind him, he smiled "Hey Melly."

I sat beside him and he put his guitar down I laid down on the couch and rest my head on his shoulder, he wrapped a arm around me "Are you okay?" he asked, I nodded and smiled "Yes, I just can't sleep" I said, he kissed my head "Snuggle into me, you will be able to."

I looked to the side and the coffee table, I saw a guitar magazine and smiled "Like you need more guitars" I said, and he looked at it and laughed "I do" he said, and then I frowned "Can you go get me some juice?" I asked, he nodded and got up.

I sat up and grabbed the magazine, and saw a small bag under it, I picked it up and froze, you have to be kidding me, I thought and looked at the cocaine.

When he came back in I looked at him "C.C. what is this?"I asked, he just looked at me "Uh, nothing" he said and gave me the juice grabbing the cocaine from my hand he put it in a drawer "C.C. I thought you said you were going to quit" I said, he nodded.

"I am, when it is almost time for little Cecelia to be born" he said, and sat down beside me "Don't worry so much baby, I only do it every once in awhile" he said, and kissed my head, he brought me closer to him and I snuggled into his embrace.

I sighed as I stroked Mel's hair and looked towards my drawer, she was asleep and it was so tempting to finish what I started but, I didn't want to leave her. I sighed and put my head on hers as she whimpered in her sleep, I watched her mumble "C.C." and her eyes open just a little but, enough so I could see her pretty blue eyes.

I smiled and kissed her nose "I'm right here Melly."

She mumbled something else and sighed as she snored softly, I smiled "I love you, you don't know how much though" I whispered, and kissed her head as she snuggled her head into my chest.
