Tyler looks at his best friend with a pity look as he plays with his food on his plate, Sam has been like this for two days now. On the first day, he had found his best friend curled up in his bed, his eyes red and face blotchy.

Sam didn't have to tell him anything, he already knew what happened by just looking at the Brunette, he ended his fling with Billy.

Tyler kinda guessed that Sam would do that, sometimes he lets his conscience get the better of him and follows it. That's why it sometimes surprises Tyler with how easy Sam can kill, like he's in this headspace, where he's a total different person, but on the other hand, he kinda isn't.

Sam is very confusing, but Tyler will always stay by his side, no matter what.

"So, I broke things off with Stu." Tyler blurts out, he winces when Sam snaps his head up at him with wide eyes.

"Why?" Sam asks, but he already knows the answer, his hold on the fork tightens.

"Because you broke things off with Billy. Now before you say anything-"

"Are you crazy?! You love Stu, more than anyone I have ever seen you crushing on, Stu had this hold on you, that made you look so happy, that made you smile so big, hell you even love him more than weed! Why would you break things off wit him, just because I did it with Billy." Sam rants, his voice becoming a whisper when he remembers where he is.

Tyler looks at him blankly. "I might love Stu, more than anything really, but not more than you. I don't care how much my love is for anybody, you're my best friend Sam, and I'm not going to be seeing Stu because then that means Billy will be with him, which means that you'll see Billy, and that'll hurt you."

Sam looks at him with teary eyes. "I don't deserve you as my friend."

Tyler scoffs, he slides out the booth and slides beside Sam before wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "Well too bad, you signed a contract the day you gave me a lollipop in recess, we're stuck together until we die."
