Sam had resulted in shoving his face with food as he tries to ignore Billy's intense look. They have been in this diner/arcade for a totally of 20 minutes and Billy hasn't stopped looking at Sam since. The male is trying to catch the other's eyes, but Sam would just not look at him.
Under the table however, Tyler's and Stu's are pressed against each other, the two missing the touch of the other. Tyler might have promised Sam, but his resolve is slowly slipping, so he has a plan.
"So, Sam." Tyler says, looking towards his best friend causing the others to look at him. "Since this is an arcade, why don't we go play some bowling." He suggests.
"Bowling, they have bowling here? Let's go play, come on." Tatum says excitedly.
"Uh, I don't-"
"Oh don't be a party poopy, Sammy, what can go wrong." Stu says with grin.
Against his better judgment, Sam's eyes trails to Billy.
"Yeah, Sam. What can go wrong." Billy tilts his head to side with a ghost of a grin on his face.
Sam clenches his jaw. "Fine, but I'm picking the names."
"Deal!" Tyler exclaims as he stands up. "Come on, last one there is a rotten egg!" He says before taking off in a run.
"Hey! You got a head start!" Stu yells before he breaks into run towards the bowling alley part of the arcade.
As the others get up, Sam makes sure to stand next to Randy, wanting to be away from Billy.
As they get to the spot where they're going to play, Sam walks up to the little stand that lets him put in the names. "Are we doing teams or?"
"It's an uneven amount of us, so single." Tyler says.
Sam internally celebrates, then he doesn't have to worry about possibly being on Billy's team, but that quickly disappears when Randy decides to speak up.
"I'm fine with being the only one alone, you guys can do teams of two." He says with a smile.
