The next few weeks had passed in a blur, as Aurora immersed herself in her studies. She was growing to love her new home, adjusting to the ways of life away from the safety of her parents back in Australia.

She had been so busy that she'd just about forgotten about Cillian. For a few days after they met, she awaited a response since she had messaged, yet received no response.

She was slightly disappointed but brushed it off as she was extremely busy, studying for her first-year midterm exams.

Aurora sat in the cosy coffee shop, typing away at her notes on her computer. The soft buzz of all the customers and coffee cups soothed her mind and allowed her to focus. The warm bubble the cafe seemed to invite provided just the scene for Aurora to finish her studies.

Suddenly her phone started to buzz, and to her surprise, Cillian's number flashed across the screen.

"Hello?" She spoke into the speaker confusedly.

"Hi, it's me, Cillian. I've got Aurora, haven't I? Haven't typed the number in wrong? I can't seem to figure out how to work these things..." he rambled on, emitting a soft chuckle from her end.

"It is me, Aurora. How are you? I was beginning to think you wouldn't reply."

"Extremely busy, I'm so sorry. I'm preparing to return for filming for Peaky Blinders, season 6." He explained, his voice low.

"I kind of figured, that's all right. Filming hey? That sounds pretty fun." She leaned back into the armchair as she spoke to him over the phone, smiling.

"Yeah, I suppose so. Sometimes it can be pretty draining," Cillian breathed, letting out a deep sigh. "I was wondering if you'd like to meet me tonight. At the diner, possibly?"

Aurora blushed, looking around the cafe to see if anyone could notice how red her face was.

"Y-yeah sure, that sounds good. Like late at night?"

"Maye around 9:30? I don't want to go too late, but if we go at night I probably won't be recognised." She drew in a sharp breath as she thought about it.

"Sure. I'll see you then." She responded, a light grin playing on her face.

"Great, bye." He curtly said goodbye before hanging the phone up.

Aurora let out a deep sigh, letting her shoulders drop, letting all her pent-up emotion leave her body.

A couple of hours later, she began her stroll to the diner, passing by many pubs and bars as she wandered the city streets. She had promised her friend, Ella, that she would drop off her notes for the current topic, making a quick pitstop.

Aurora reached the small flat, knocking firmly twice. Ella opened the door with a sloppy smile.

"You are a lifesaver!" She exclaimed, gratefully taking the notes from her arms.
