Aurora leaned against a tree on her campus lawn, basking in the Dublin Sun, as warm as it could get for mid-April. She missed the heat of Australia, but the nice breeze of the warmer months in Dublin put her mind at ease.

She was studying for her upcoming exams, doing a deep delve into family law, which was a major part of the exam. Highlighters, papers and random notes pages were sprawled in front of her on the grass, as she looked down in frustration.

"Fuck." She muttered, struggling to find just the term she was looking for.

Aurora knew that a sudden switch to law from architecture would be hard, but she had watched Legally Blonde too many times to give up now, she couldn't let Elle Woods down now.

She nervously pushed her hair back, her mind in a stress-filled frenzy, she was not nearly as ready for exams as she should've been.

Her phone buzzed, and even though she told herself she wouldn't check any notifications, out of curiosity, Aurora picked her phone up.

Cillian: Coffee? I know a spot.
Aurora: Sure, text me the spot and I'll meet you there.

She sighed, packing up her books and walking to her car. She chucked her bag in the front seat, before sliding into the driver's seat and resting her head against the wheel. Aurora sat like that for a couple of minutes, being pulled out of her trance by her phone buzzing again.

It was from Cillian again, texting her the address of the cafe, which gave her cause to finally start the engine and be on her way.

Aurora rolled the windows down, letting the wind catch her hair. The drive allowed her mind to clear, detoxing from her stressful day.

She passed the scenery of Dublin, appreciating the true beauty of the city, so different to what she had known her whole life. Most nights she dreamt of the red dirt, and the safety that she associated with Australia, her home. She was homesick, yet with each passing day, Ireland grew on her. It was different, but a good different.

Aurora arrived at the small, downtown cafe, parking her car just opposite.

Stepping into the cafe, the smell of coffee grounds was prominent, the clutter of the tables and customers reminding her of the first job she ever had. Hospitality was not fun to work in, which is why she was extra nice to servers.

The bohemian style decor was relaxing, as Aurora opted to sit next to a window at a small table. She pulled out her phone, opening her messages.

Aurora: Hey I'm just sitting inside.
Cillian: I'll be there in 5 mins.

She leant her head on her palm as she glanced through the menu, deciding on a slice of lemon tart and a mocha latte. Coffee was pretty much the only thing keeping her awake, as her all-night study sessions drained her natural energy.
