Part 27

Areeba was sitting at the front seat with Umer and he was driving. Areeba was looking outside and Umer called Areeba. Areeba looked at him and asked ''kya howa'' and he replied'' tum theek ho na'' and she nodded and he replied'' kyu ke chup chup hoo''. Areeba replied'' kuch baat krne ko nahi hai'' and Umer nodded and stopped at a signal. Junaid came and Umer rolled down his window . He looked at Umer and said '' Bahi Jan ap kab aye '' . He looked at Junaid and then Areeba and said '' G bass aj aya hoon aur ap ko kise pata '' and he pointed out to Areeba and replied'' Wo Areeba babhi ne bataya'' and he replied'' Aur aj babhi kush lag rhi hain chaloo ap aa gy na ap ko yaad kr rhi thi'' and Umer chuckled and replied'' Ap ko kise pata'' and he said '' wo babhi ik din kahi ja rahi thi to tab mili thi aur tab udaas udass lag rahi thi aur main ne ap ke bare main poucha tha toh tab inhon ne bataya tha aur kafi dukhi lag rhi thi '' and Areeba replied'' Junaid theek hai ap se ksii din aur mulaqat ho gyi''Umer and Junaid chuckled and bid good bye when Areeba started looking outside . 

They arrived her house and Areeba said'' ap bhi andr chale'' and he replied'' nahi bhut dher ho gyi aur u know thak gaya hoon''
she replied'' ap andr aa kr araam kr le'' and he replied nahi main chalta hoon '' and smiled. She got off from the car and looked back as he was still here and said waved her hand and then he was standing till she went inside. Areeba went to her house and met her mom and went to her room and slept. It was after a week when they were going back to college and Areeba. Areeba and her friends were sitting at the lunch table when Umer and his brothers also came in and Areeba stopped talking as she saw Umer and smiled at him while he smiled back and sat with his brothers . While, Alishba came in and she wasn't looking fine.

 Areeba and Umer made eye contact when Areeba blinked at him indicating that she will handle it and then Alishba came and sat next to Areeba. Areeba asked '' Alishba kyaa howa theek hoo na'' and she nodded but Areeba felt as if she wasn't. Then, Areeba asked '' Alishbaaa mujhey nazar aa raha hai ke kitne theek hoo '' and then she looked at her and Areeba could see that she cried . She widen her eyes when Alishba hugged her and started crying again. There wasn't a lot of people at the cafeteria thank fully and they were sitting at the corner where no one could see them. Areeba started patting her back when she saw Umer and his brothers coming toward them. By that time, Areeba's other friend went to there class as they were the only one sitting. Umer and his brother sat infornt of them and Umer asked '' kya howa Alishbaa'' and she shook her head in no and hugged Areeba again. Areeba looked at Umer and said '' Umer wo lagta hai dar rahi hai main baat krti hoon'' and he sighed and replied'' haa ab ap janab aa gyi hain toh mujhse thori koi kuch bataye ga'' he whispered to himself and Haroon chuckled while Areeba asked'' kya bolaa''. 

And , he replied'' kuch nahi'' and Haroon again chuckled so did Ahmed and he glared at both of them.Alishba whispered in her ear'' Ali mujhse baat nahi kr rhy pata nahi kyu''. And , she widen her eyes and gulped '' Kyaaa main ghr ja kr un se pouchti hoon'' and she nodded. Areeba thought in her head ''Kya  agr kuch ho jaye toh bahi ke wajh se umer aur ye sab mujhse baat nahi kry gy kya''. Areeba went home and looked for Ali. She found him and asked'' Bahi ap se kuch baat krni hai'' and he replied'' jaldi bolo''. She said'' ap Alishba se baat kyu nahi kr rhy'' and Ali looked up and replied'' tum choro'' and then she started insisting him'' bahi kya mathlab main choro Alishba ro rhi thi aj ke ap us ke saath baat nahi kr rhy'' after a while he replied'' choti hoo to choti ban kr raho bari bany ke koo zororat nahi hai'' and she got scared as she has never seen him like them. Areeba felt tears in her eyes and left his room and went to her own. Alishba video called Areeba and she wiped her tears and answered her call smiling. She said '' Assamualikum kya hal hai'' Alishba replied and now she felt as if something was up with Areeba. Areeba nodded her head and Umer passed by as Alishba was talking to her. 

Haroon came out of nowhere and popped in and talked to Areeba saying'' Kya hal hai Areeba theek hoo'' and Areeba nodded and they all talked then Haroon called Umer and said '' Bhai idr aye''and he came and stood infront of him and he looked at Areeba and they all talked but Umer started looking at Areeba and thought something is off with her. He thought to talk to her privately. They all ended the call when umer's mom came in and said '' Umer ye Shehnaz ke ghr de kr aoo'' and then he nodded . He was basically going to Areeba's house and he thought in his head that perfect. He drove to her house and rang the bell and her mom answered the door and made him come in. They talked when Areeba came down and stared at the person sitting while she muttered '' Umer''. Her mom said '' Areeba idr aoo Umer aya hai tum is se milo tab tk main kuch kaam kr ke ati hoon'' and she nodded and went toward Umer and sat next to him. Umer asked '' Areeba kya hal hai'' and she smiled and nodded. Umer felt as if something is off and then he got up and Areeba looked at him and he said '' mujhey haath dohne hain'' and she nodded and saw him going toward the bathroom next to Ali's when Areeba called him''Umer'' and he looked back and she said '' ap mere room main chale jaye'' and then he nodded and went toward her room. Umer came after some time when he heard some voices outside .

 He saw that Areeba and Ali were arguing. Even her mom was  there trying to stop them to argue. Areeba said '' Bahi ap mujhey batayee gy yeh nahi '' and he replied'' main ne pehla bhi kaha tha ke tum choti ho to choti rahooo''. Her mom replied'' Bass kro tum dono '' and then Ali said ''Ami ise samjhaye fazool cheezy pouch rhi hai''. Areeba then saw Umer coming and everyone kept quiet while Areeba looked down. Areeba's mom called Umer and said '' Umer beta tum he in dono ko kuch samjaooo ye dono apas main behass kr rhy hain aur mujhey nahi bata rhy ke baat kiya hai'' am. Umer nodded and he said '' Aunty ap room main chale jayee ap ko stress nahi lena chiheye as she was sick and her mom went to her room. While, Umer stood there and glaring at them. Umer replied'' kya ho raha hai ye sab'' and then Ali spoke'' is se bolo ke fazool ke bahas na krain'' and then Areeba spoke'' Bahi main ne sirf ap se sawal poucha thaa ap he jo agy argue kr rhy hain'' . Ali turned and accidentally it pushed Areeba and she stumble back while Umer held her. Both of them started staring at each other and then Ali looked at them and then went inside slamming his door. Areeba looked up at Umer and Umer could see the tears flowing in his eyes. Umer held her hand and said '' chaloo'' while she followed him to her room.

 She sat at her bed and he sat next to him and said '' kya howa hai bataoo'' and she told him the whole story. He looked shocked and then he said''mujhey samj nahi aa rhi main kahoon kiyaa'' and then she started crying and he pulled her into him and patted her hair saying'' shhh koi baat nahi'' and then she looked up to him and whispered '' Umer'' and he hummed and she replied'' ik baat pouchoo'' and he said '' haa poucho'' and she asked '' agr bahi aur Alishba ache terms main na hoon ye phir ap aur bahi toh phir ap kya mujhse baat nahi kry gy''. Umer stopped his hand and made her look at him'' Ye kis ne kaha tum se hmm kuch bhi ho jaye main tum se baat krne nahi choron ga hamare darmiyaan koi bhi ghaltfahmi nahi aye gyii agr Alishba aur Ali ke wajh se kuch ho to is ka mathlab ye nahi ke hum log apas main milna chor de gy''. She hugged him and said'' main dar gyi thi ke agr koi ghalt fahmi ho jaye toh ap mujhse baat krna toh nahi chor de gy and then he cupped her cheeks and replied'' kabhi nahi'' and smiled. He asked '' kahi lagyi toh nahi'' and she nodded her head in negative and replied'' ap mujhey kuch hone thori na dete'' and he chuckled. Umer replied'' Ali se mujhey baat krne ho gyi'' and Areeba nodded and said '' likin apna kayal rakhna main ne pehli martaba bahi ka gussa dekha'' and then he hugger her again and said''mere chote patakhy ko ali ne rolaya hai na toh usy apne tension lene chiheye'' and she blushed at '' mere'' and then she realized he called her chote patakha which made her look up and said '' ye ap ne chota patakha kis ko kaha while trying to look furious '' when he pinched her cheeks and said '' ofcourse one and only '' Areeba Khan'' and she blushed.
