CHAPTER 34

(Why’s she scared of Jungkook?)

Jimin’s Pov:

“Is there something wrong?’ He asked as I kept staring at the picture.

“Jimin?” He called again, also becoming curious.

I can’t believe that lady’s Felix’s mum.

But come to think of it; could it be possible she recognized me and that was the reason she wanted me to leave when I had followed Felix home the other day?

Could it be possible…she’s someone from my past, but doesn’t want to associate with me?

I took my eyes back to Felix.

“Uhm…Felix,” I called and he rose his brows.

He clearly wanted to hear what I had to say.

“Your mum…I want to speak with her” I said and he flinched.

“My…my mum?” He stuttered and I nodded.

I took in a deep breath.

“Listen to me, Felix. There’s something you don’t know about me. I…I lost my memories and was found and adopted by the man who I take to be my father.

But the truth is, I don’t have a single idea where I come from. I don’t know my family or anyone from my past.” I enthused and his eyes dilated in surprise.

“Oh, my God! Are…are you serious?” He asked bewildered.

I know I don’t like telling people about it; but right now, I need his help.

“You don’t know where you come from?” He asked again and I nodded.

“H…How did this happen? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
I sighed and brushed my hair backwards.

“So…how does that connect to my mum?” He asked after a pause.

I clicked my tongue and leaned forward.

“I…I think your mum knows me, Felix. I mean, from my past” I said and he winced.

“Wh…What?”

“Yeah. There was a day Lisa and I were on our way to school and we had almost knocked her down with our car. I rushed out immediately to apologize to her, but when she saw me, she said something like:

*you've really become this cute huh?*

“And with the way she had stared at me, so confusing; it was obvious she knew me; like I could feel it”.
I paused and touched my hair.

He was staring speechlessly at me.

“I know this might sound crazy, Felix, but, I’d really appreciate it if you could help me get to her. I…I really wanna see her; get to talk to her and see if she could help me with any piece of information”.
I concluded and stared into his face, expecting a positive reply.

Oh, God! I really hope he finds it reasonable.

“Wow” he scoffed and didn’t say any other thing for a while.

“So, you…you’re suspecting my mum?” he asked.

“No, no, no. It’s not the way you think, Felix…”

“It’s alright, Jimin.” He cut in with a light smile.

“Like I said, my mum is one of a kind. She’s weird, and I know it. And I won’t doubt it if you tell me such stuff about her.
“So, don’t worry, I’m willing to help” he said and my eyes beamed.
