I wake up. Everything is a blur.. I don't know what is going on. What happened to me? All I hear are random noises, I can't understand anything! The noises started to become more clear.
"I can't believe it, is this possible? Another guardian?"
My vision has become more clear, I look around only to see an old abandon building, many cars, and ground... Where am I? Was that voice just my imagination?
"Hello? Guardian? Up here!"
I look up to see a small flying orb. It looks like it could fit on the palm of my hand. This couldn't be real.
"W-where am I? What are you?!"
"I am a ghost, I was created in the last of the travelers dying bre-" it was cut off by a menacing yowl of some sort. It sounded very close by. "We need to get moving, now. You've been dead for a long time, and you might not kn-.. No. You dont know what is going on, so just follow me and do as I say."
I was reluctant to follow this piece of magic, machinery, whatever it was, but I have no idea what is going on and it seems to want to help me, so I have no choice.
I run into an old abandoned complex with the orb. It is really dark. My first reflex was to grab one of the lightsticks stuck in the ground.
"No, don't take that, I have a better idea."
I watch as the ghost flies away, and I stand in the almost pitch black room for what seems like forever, until I see lights coming on. One by one I see that this is not just one room, but an entire complex! This is one of the cosmodrome's from the golden age! All the sudden I hear a loud shout from the far end of the complex.
"Fallen, they've spotted us!" The ghost shouted.
"What are the fallen?!" I said in a frantic tone.
"No time to explain! There! See that rifle? Go pick it up!" It said.
"Then what?!" I was clueless
"Do you see the door at the other end of this complex? Get to it, and shoot anything that comes near you."
I go and pick up the weapon. All the sudden on the bottom left of my view I see numbers and a gun symbol. Must be how my ammo is in here.. How am I seeing this? I touch my head and realize I have a helmet on. No time for that, I have to go.
"I sure hope you know how to use that thing.." The orb said.
"Yeah, so do I." I said before entering the corridors, where the light didn't reach.
"Here goes nothing." That is the last words I said before walking into the void of darkness that filled the corridors.
