This castle is one of the most luxurious places in the underworld and holds the second most influential clan among 72 pillars of the devil race and today it is filled with movement where we see servants and maids are placing decorations and making foods for the party this evening and for this special event the gremory clan gathered the best chief and ingredients in the hall of the supernatural world to make this day one to remember after all this day is birthday of heiress and princess of the clan rias gremory and for that all the residence of the castle are in heigh spirit or isn't it ...

  Scenery changes to a small and secluded room outside the main building which could be mistaken as one of the servant rooms but in reality it is the room of Erity the youngest gremory his room is empty outside of a bed and closet and small deck unlike his sister room who it is ten times bigger room with vibrant colors and everything a six years old girl can whishes for and even more

He thought to himself while looking into the outside of his small room window with a sad face. the only reason he noticed what today event is because the big banner of the birthday party as he is not allowed outside of the old compound for his father's order and in his father's world

" A disgrace like you shouldn't be in the eyes of the public you will only bring shame to the gremory name so sit and make yourself useful "

And that is what he is doing as he looks in the book that he took from the old library after all he only knows how to read and write because it will bring his family even more shame if he can't but that all he needed as he looks at the book title "the basics of the mana" His way to become useful and finding this wasn't so hard after all he wasn't born with the ability to used magic but the human in legend too but they have what they call magician and the only question left is how they do it ? And the answer is :

Mana is essential to use human Magic, it exists in the atmosphere and is divided into particles of each element It is said that the current Magic system used by Humans today was developed by Merlin Ambrosius, the legendary wizard from Arthurian legend, who studied Demonic Power and their Magic. Humans have shown that they can become Magicians by formal learning and training in the art of mana even without any supernatural background

He thought again after months of searching in the old library he found all what he was looking for to become stronger

He line of thought was cut by Knock in his door and quickly he hid the book in his secret storage in the floor where we see other books titled "Touki" "Secret gear" "Devil history" "Human history" "The art of wars" ... Ect after that he placed the Missing piece of the floor wood in her place and open the door

He finds outside it a maid holding a pair of fancy clothes

Erity pov :

" Lord gremory order you wear those in the birthday party " She said in disgusted voice after all a middle class devil serving samone who can't even hold candle to low class devil his age is insulting  for all the Gremory servants

I took clothes without a word and closed the door and sighed ' at least I got now pair of clothes ' as he looked at his closet which it fell with only the clothes he get to attend public even like this to act like stringless doll like his father demand and without wasting time he dress and and go to party where he stand in corner before anyone spot him while looking around of someone

finally he spot him and wave at him
  A handsome boy looks older than him by one year he has black hair and violet eyes taking his way to him

" Erity !! How have you been? " He said happily while waving at me

I chuckled and answered " I am still alive and that the matter " I said with small sad but true smile " How about you ?"

I signed " The things get harder after you lost the heir title last year didn't it "

" Yes " He said downcast "me and my mother will have to move to the country side of the bael clan after a couple of months by my father ordered this the last time we will see each other " He said with tears falling from his eyes

My eyes widen and tears come into my eyes but as fast as it comes I crush it and clutch my fists and make a fake smile ' this is not the time to show my weakness he needs me' I thought as I hugged him and soothing voice I said " No it not " After a pause " Next time we see each other we will be closest to our dreams. Don't you remember we promise that we will both become stronger in our one way " I said while lifting his head to look him in the eyes and I wipe his tears
He finally stopped crying and smiled and said " Yes I remember "
I smiled back and we continued talking unaware of the shadowy figure that is watching us with small smile and curious eyes
After a while, a maid came with a fake smile and bow saying "Your father ordered you to come to watch your sister blow the candles of the cake"

I looked at Sairaorg with a sad smile and said "Remember our promise" And followed the maid with a heavy heart with the later nodding to me with teary eyes
No one pov :
  Rias blow the candles and In order to keep the public image erity have to be there and after that the clans children start chatting and there was rias talking non stop about the naw anime that she watched to her best friend sona sitri who was bored with conversation as she looked around then spotted Erity to the side
Sona pov :
I looked at the new face with curious eyes then I extended my hand to him and I said "Hello I am sona sitri nice to meet you wanna be friends" Everyone stop what they are doing and look at the specter

Erity look with surprise but hopeful eyes . This his chance of having another friend especially after Sairaorg living him alone

At the same time Rias looks on with jealousy at the chance of losing her best friend to her disgrace of brother and with rage she said " Sona if talk to that loser of a brother you will not be my friend ever again "

I was shocked that what she said I really wanted to be his friend but I know his condition and knows that I will not get anything by becoming his friend unlike rias who had a bright future and a lot of benefits with heavy hard I slap the hand of the hopeful Erity
" Do you really believe that someone will befriend a useless loser like you " I said with sorry eyes
No one pov :
Rias looks on with a smirk while Everyone in the party laugh at what transpires before them even the Gremory family minus Zeoticus Gremory who looks angry at his frozen son for embarrassing the clan
  The frozen Erity heart breaks he was insulted before and even cursed but never humiliated like this before with teary eyes he run out of the party hall
  The shadowy figure looks at what transpires with grime and angry expression then his eyes follow the boy who caught his attention to the old Gremory building as the party continues .

Author note : I'm thinking of changing his name from Erity to Royal. I choose Erity because what it is means the one who is special in Japanese as is Mentioned before in the first chapter as he is not born special as Sirzechs meant but he will become special in his own ways but the name is very hard to remember and Royal has a similar vibe but it Isn't Original at all and I live the choice to you
-I am still looking for ideas for the peerage so gave me some ideas
