LUCREZIA SIGHED, wringing the cloth and wiping down her bedridden, pregnant mother whom watched her with a dazed smile, "you needn't do this, Lu."
the violet eyed girl frowned, watching as her mother grasped her hand before she spoke, "but I want to, I'd rather not fly knowing you are unwell; both greyghost and I are uneasy,"
Aemma laughed, her sweet gentle girl with a dragon of such ghostly nature, yet uneasy due to her; it was laughable.
Lucrezia pouted, "why are you laughing! Grey listened when I was telling him about you and he seemed saddened," as if to further her point she stared out the window with longing in her gaze.
"You jest too much, you must take this serious." Aemma chuckled as Lucrezia waved her off, her head turning to the sounds of the door, seeing her younger sister and her friend.
"I must take my leave, father wished to speak to me after his council. Rest well, Mũna." Lucrezia spoke softly, placing a kiss upon Aemma's damp head before turning, "Hello sister, miss hightower, I hope today has been grand for the both of you."
Rhaenyra's eyes rolled at her sisters clear disregard for her friend but nonetheless smiled as Alicent bowed quickly, making way for the elder to walk past, but Lucrezia stopped beside her and whispered softly, "your posture is stiff, Hightower."
Alicent swore she had never been embarrassed more within her short life as she watched the youngest princess walk away.
SHE MISSED THE small council meeting and her little white lie that Viserys had wanted to speak to her as she walked into the main hall, greeted by her uncle."kepus, your home soon. Didn't enjoy your trip away?" Lucrezia hummed, as the guard closed the door behind her, "and, why are you sitting in my father's chair?"
Daemon smirked, clicking his tongue, "your father is throwing a tourney in my honour, this throne may very well be mine."
"I must admit, I do not recall of such an event for you," Lucrezia sniffed, watching as he scoffed and walked down the steps towards her. "Their is a tourney for the babe that rests within my mother,"
"It may not yet be a boy," daemon taunted, his eyes detailing her face as she grinned, jesting. "I'll pray to the old gods and knew that it will have a member between its legs then."
Daemons eyes rolled, "you and your foul language, close your eyes now; I got you a present, sweetling." With a sigh, she closed her eyes as he reached for her hand, cool metal slipping upon her ring finger on her right hand.
"Open," daemon whispered, his fingers ghosting over her cheek as she looked at her hand. There sat a Valyrian steel ring , engraved with dragons and a shining red ruby, "Oh, daemon."
She gasped, looking at him with a wide smile; "it's beautiful truly, you know the way to my heart; I shall cherish it."
He smiled softly, raising her hand as he kissed upon the ring before waving her on, "run along sweetling. You have my tourney to prepare for, and I'm hoping for your luck."
Lucrezia sighed, she had no notion of going to the tourney. Instead, she was to be with her mother but she nodded and smiled, "of course, my favour is to you."
with that she walked away, a simple word falling from daemons lips.
"Gevie."
