During one of the repeated episodes of Friends, that Jordan was sure the teenager had probably watched several times, it was then that she realised that Olivia had drifted back off to sleep during the midst of it; no doubt the exhaustion taking over from feeling so ill.
The older women didn't have it in her heart to disturb her or even reach out for the TV controller that was slotted beside the younger girl, incase it would wake her up, so she was now somehow stuck watching the old-reruns of the beloved American TV sitcom all while she continued to scroll through her Instagram page, doing her usual thing of liking her friend's and family's posts and commenting on some of them.
Her phone started to buzz in her hand, noting the incoming FaceTime call from her Irish best friend, glancing at the teenager asleep beside her, she accepted the call and waited for it to connect.
"Hiya," Jordan greeted the brunette in a hushed whisper, worried in case she woke the teenager up.
"Hi, Jords. What're ye doin' now?" Katie questioned, her accent coming across strong as ever as she spoke to her friend. "Rue's at trainin' and I'm bored. Do ye fancy doin' somethin' at all?" she wondered.
"Ah mate, I'm currently looking after Liv while Leah's out," Jordan explained to the brunette, she continued to peer down at the girl asleep beside her but knowing how ill she'd been today, she doubted that she would wake up anytime soon. "We think she might have a sickness bug or something, but maybe later on?" she offered.
"Kiddo's sick? Ah no, that sucks," Katie frowned, shifting herself on her side of the camera to walk around her home that she shared with her girlfriend, Ruesha. "Yeah, maybe later. Let me know," she added.
"I will do mate no worries," Jordan agreed, gently getting up from the sofa as she remained hopeful to not wake Olivia up as she walked into the kitchen to check on the washing in the machine. "Just having to wash everything now, because Liv was sick on a few things, like we're talking projectile vomit... Everywhere," she explained to her friend, scratching the back of her neck.
