A very young child, at the age of 1 was very intelligent and Father Orsi could never be proud enough of the young girl. Her name was Y/n, Father Orsi or rather, her ' papa ' would always promise try to give her the best life and education to further enhance her intelligence.She made quite a name for herself in the village of Hage. They call her " The young Prodigy of Hage Village" or " The Precious Jade of Hage Village" . He would go search and borrow from the entire village for books just so she can read and enjoy herself, seeing as she's the only orphan left he took in.
That was until one day, they woke up to the sound of cries outside of the church. The man already knew what it meant so he groggily stood up and tried to walk towards the entrance of the church but a tiny hand stopped him by grabbing onto his sleeve. " Papa don't go, it monsters! Outside!" the young girl pouted at her foster father with tears at the edge of her eyes.
The man's eyes soften at the sight of the one year old and gave her head a soft pat " Don't worry my precious gem, I'll be careful" The young girl reluctantly let go of his sleeve and said" finee, but I go with you " nodding at her, the man gently took her hand and they both walked to the entrance.
The man sighed at the two baskets and said " Here we go again" , and they both went back into the bedroom to place the baskets with the crying babies on the bed. The man was rocking one of them like a madman while the young girl just observed her papa with tired eyes. After a while the baby finally calmed down " There, there" he said " Those two finally calmed down"
He put the baby back into he basket and stretched his back while groaning in exhaustion. The young girl slid down from her seat and went near them while holding a Bible with a cross on the other hand. The man sweatdropped as she tried to get up on the bed. After helping her he asked " Y/n.. My precious gem..Why are you holding those?"
The young girl, now known as Y/n was staring intensely at the boys while clutching on the two holy objects with her." Just in case " she said blankly at him.
He signed and kneeled to get a better look on the boys "Are they brothers.. Or perhaps twins?" he said. " No.. Probably not" the young girl replied. " Ah, you're probably right.. This one looks rather calm" he said while looking at the black haired baby. " But this one..seems like he has a lot of spunk.. First of all, they don't look a thing alike " he added while rubbing his chin." Hm? Yuno "
" huh? ' you know ' what? " the young girl said while looking at her papa with an eyebrow raised. The man looked at her and chuckled " I was reading something on his shirt " " ohhh.. That makes much more sense " she said while looking down in thought. The man smiled at her" Well then, let's see. And the spunky one over here is- "
Before he can continue the baby kicked him in the face and he fell back from the force. The young girl looked at at them in horror before shouting in her mind ' AAAAAH! I KNEW IT!! DEMON BABY!! ' as she held the cross in front of her.
" Hey! You're a bit too spunky" The man said as he held his nose while getting up. He looked a bit irritated but it was soon replaced by him with a smile and a sweatdrop as he looked at the young girl. " *sigh* don't worry y/n, he won't hurt you.. Asta eh? "
" Right! You two don't need to worry about a thing anymore. Starting today, this is your new home. Asta, Yuno "
