Dad put down his fork. "Tell us, the setting is getting too serious here," he turned to them. "You know, they've been ignoring me ever since I got home!", I pointed.
"You be quiet Ayle," Mom said, then looked at Andrew, "What?"

"Nothing", Andrew lied...well at least it looked like he lied.

"You know how I feel about lies," Dad put his fork down.

"Well," Aran started, "It's Ayle," (when Dad gets mad, things gets serious)

"What, ME?!", I stared.

"A girl at school got a break down because of Ayle," Aran said. "Well I have no problems with Ayle, so it's frankly nothing for me," he continued.

"What do you mean?", Dad asked Andrew, "What's it gotta do with you?"

"Huh? Oh... Er," Andrew looked down.

"It's something to do with who? Say it Andrew," Aran said (drum rolls please).

"Abigail," Andrew said.

"But Abby's in my class, not yours. So what's it gotta do with you?", I asked.

"Because Abigail is Kara's sister. Isn't it Andrew?", Aran smiled.

"Hold on kids. Explain Andrew," Mom said confused. "So...", Andrew paused.
"I'll just do the explanation Mom," Aran piped (he looked so excited about this), "So I'll start with Abby. Abby is a new kid with a 143 IQ. It seems that Ayle doesn't like her, so Ayle ignored Abby. What's it gotta do with Andrew is, Andrew likes this girl called Kara. Kara happens to be Abby's older sister. It looks like Abby told her sister about Ayle who was ignoring her. She might've said that Ayle hates her and bad mouths her. Then probably, Kara asked who the girl was, so she knew it was Andrew's little sister, because Ayle had met Kara several times. Then Kara possibly was mad at Andrew because his little sister hurt her little sister. That's my analysis. End of story," Aran smiled.

"Is it true Andrew? Is it true Ayle?", Dad asked.
"I didn't do that to Abby, so she was bluffing her butts off," I protested.
"Mind your language Ayle," Mom said.
"Sorry," I said.
"So what did you do?", Dad asked me.
"Abby was the one who was bad mouthing me. She told my old friends that good friends always make time for them who are in need, and that those who didn't, or only did sometimes, should be left, and don't deserve their love and friendship. My friends told her about me from the get-go and she made them leave me saying I was mean. I couldn't believe they were fooled!", I explained.
"Did you ignore her?", Dad asked.
"Yes, because she simply went too far. I tried to make friends but she didn't let me, because she always smirked at me. Yesterday, she was playing Truth or Dare with my friends. I wanted to play too, but she mouthed 'too bad so sad' at me with a fake pouted face, so how can I not be mad? I didn't do anything to her, instead I bit my lip till it bled, then she suddenly became all nice to me because my friends just noticed I was there and my lip was bleeding. Who's the drama queen?", I said furiously, because I held up too much anger already, and now this happened.

"Calm down, Ayle. Did she say anything about it?", Mom asked.
"She said, 'Ayle, I just want to make friends, I'm not trying to harm your friendship!', can't you see she's a fake? I said, 'Who said you were trying to harm your friendship? Maybe you really did mean it. Listen Abby, if you really didn't mean it, then be it.' That's what I said, and left her. What's wrong with that?", I reasoned.

"Nothing. Let's hear from you Andrew. Do you like Kara?", Dad asked.
"No. I was just being kind because she helped me study and thanks to her my scores went up. Because of Abby, she ignored me and didn't want to help me study, so I was mad at Ayle for being mad to her sister because it will effect my studies. But I didn't know Ayle's side of story," Andrew said.
"So now you know her side of story, do you forgive her?", Mom asked.
"Yes," Andrew said.
"Good, now shake hands," Dad said. We shook hands.
"If you guys have any matters to tell, tell us okay?", Dad continued.
"Okay," we said in unison.
"Ayle, from now on, talk to Abby only if she talks to you. If she doesn't, don't start a conversation, because you could hurt her feelings when you're angry. Get it? You said the right thing so it's enough," Dad said.

"Let's resume eating," Mom said.
"But...how come Kara and Abby are sisters when Kara's name is Berkley and Abby's name is Hamilton?", I asked.
The boys didn't know and I shrugged it off. So the cold situation melted, and the night went on well. I finished my homework, and that's how the day ended. Reasons were clear enough...except that family name question.
