szymon's pov
the next few days — dorm room

I've been skipping class lately. I couldn't bring myself to go to different classes. I just broke up with Dom and I've been feeling depressed and been sleep deprived. I couldn't focus on anything else but him. Me and Your Mama played in the background but I only noticed the screams getting louder— just like with me and Dominic's argument. I sobbed more tears as the song kept on playing. Then my phone rang.

"Hello?" I greet the person on the phone. I couldn't care less about whoever the person is.

"Hey man, where are you? You've missed the entire calculus test." I hear Breyden say. I sigh before turning of the song.

"That's all I missed, so what?" I say back.

"Actually, you also missed the finale of the soccer match. We lost because you weren't there." Breyden says. Oh shit, I forgot there was a soccer match two days ago.

"Right... I have a lot happening right now, okay?" I reply.

"Yeah I figured. By the way..." Breyden starts off. "What's happening with you anyways?"

I pause. "Just something..." I reply.

"Tell me." he says. "You can trust me man."

"I-..." I sniff. I recalled everything happening the day of the argument. I shook at the thought.

"Hey... what's up with you?..." Breyden asks. "I'm here for you, okay?"

"I haven't really told anyone besides Martin but..." I take a deep breath. "I broke up with Dom..."

"You guys were together?!" he yells.

"Yeah and now I just ended it and feel absolutele fucking regret. I'm so motherfucking stupid!" I yell back.

"Hey!" Breyden yells. "Don't say that, alright? Why did you guys break up though? Was it you or him?"

"It was Dominic." I answer. "He's the one who'd been hanging out with Maria a lot. He even cancelled our dates."

"Then you're not the stupid one, he is. It's a good thing you ended it with Dominic dude. He's at fault, not you." Breyden says.

"I could hug you right now man." I say. He chuckles from the other side of the phone.

"Anyways, I gotta go. We have a chemistry exam, you coming anytime soon?" he asks.

"Probably not, and Brey..." I call out.

"What's up?" Breyden asks me.

"Don't tell anyone about Dom and I, please? Sure we broke up already, but I don't want anyone to know we were together." I reply.

"Yeah sure, I got you." Breyden says. Afterwards he hung up.

I sigh. I'm all lonely... again. I stare at the ceilings and overthought of almost everything. Just then, there was a knock on the door.
