TRIGGER WARNING: Implied S.A.
As soon as the man opened the door, [y/n] knew exactly who he was.
Adam Kilgore.
Adam was the brother- the disgusting, evil, horrible brother- of her husband. She was face to face with one of the many things she had tried to escape. She was horrified, and she knew that he could tell. Hell, he could practically smell her fear. Her heart pounded so hard she could hear it in her ears, her stomach felt like it was spinning in circles, she felt tears burning the corners of her eyes- and that's when she saw him.
Him.
Her husband was standing behind Adam with a crooked grin on his face. He stepped closer to the door as [y/n] backed away, laughing as she almost stumbled over herself. She was terrified, and he could tell, just like Adam could. [Y/n] had no clue why they were there. She knew they didn't live there. She tried to come up with a reason, but was failing. That's when it hit her- they were there for her.
--------------------Arthur's Pov------------------
Arthur sat behind a rock for what felt like ages. He was beginning to worry about [y/n], questioning why she hadn't walked by with the couple yet. Surely they wouldn't wait to take a kidnapped girl- well, a seemingly kidnapped girl- to the sheriff. Arthur glanced over at Javier who was hiding behind a rock. He looked worried as well. Charles and Bill were around the back of the house. Arthur wondered if they had seen anything, so he began sneaking around to the back. That's when he saw what was happening.
As Arthur peeked his head out form behind the rock, he could see [y/n] being dragged inside by two men. His eyes darted to Javier, as if he was trying to confirm what he just saw. Javier looked horrified. Arthur ran around to the back of the house and told Charles and Bill what he had seen, speaking frantically. They tried to calm him down but they couldn't.
They managed to get Arthur to wait until night so they could sneak in and grab her without any fighting. As much as Arthur wanted to smash the skulls of those men, he knew this was the best option. They couldn't risk
[y/n] being hurt.Arthur got more and more anxious as night got closer. He was horrified that they were to late, even though the boys were watching the house like hawks. Deep down Arthur knew one of them would see or hear something, and since they hadn't, he could safely assume she was alive- but he was still horrified. What if they had killed her quietly? What if they had killed her the second they grabbed her? He could barely breath as his mind raced on with possibilities. He was completely oblivious to the world, not seeing or hearing anything until Javier shook his shoulders, breaking him out of the trance. "Hola amigo, it's time." Javier said with a warm, although very obviously worried, smile. Arthur stood, the anger boiling inside him as they snuck closer.
When they got to the front door they tried it- and much to their luck- it was unlocked. The four of them snuck inside. They checked the ground floor, then the second floor, but there was no sign of [y/n]. There wasn't even any sign of a struggle. As they made another lap around the ground floor Javier called out quietly. "I found something, looks like a hidden door.." He said, looking at Arthur. They opened the door to reveal a dark stair case with the glowing light of a candle at the bottom.

As they walked down the stairs, they were greeted by a horrifying sight.
[Y/n] was chained to the wall, her clothes strewn about and the two men zipping up their pants. Charles, Javier, and Bill all covered their eyes to give the girl privacy, but Arthur was blinded by anger. He knew exactly what these men had done. Arthur stormed down the last few steps, removing his knife from his pocket. The men looked surprised as Arthur stepped closer, holding the knife up. "Woah man, w-whaddya think yer doin'?" Adam stuttered. "What do I think I'm doin'? You fuckin' pigs!" Arthur shouted, stabbing Adam in the shoulder. Adam cried out in pain, falling to the ground, holding his shoulder. "You maniac, that's my brother!" [Y/n]'s husband shouted. "I'm gonna kill you!" He shouted again, swinging at Arthur and missing as Arthur dodged it. "I'd like to see you try, you pig." Arthur said in a low voice. [Y/n]'s husband swung again, this time his punch landed on Arthur's jaw. "Come on, pretty boy..." He sneered. Arthur glared at him. "Pretty boah? You're kiddin' me! Pretty boah?" Arthur swung, hitting [y/n]'s husband in the side of the head. [Y/n]'s husband tackled Arthur, landing blows on him with ease as he sat on him. [y/n] screamed in terror."Eugene! Please, stop!" She screamed, begging her husband to stop hurting Arthur. Arthur began laughing, taking Eugene by surprise, causing him to stop. "Eugene? Yer fuckin' name is Eugene?" He howled in amusement. "Well now I have to beat you, I don't want folks sayin' I lost to a Eugene!" Arthur said, rolling over and sitting on Eugene, punching him repeatedly.
The fight lasted for a good hour- only ending when Eugene managed to slip away from Arthur and around Javier, Charles, and Bill, who were watching the fight- while making sure they couldn't see [y/n]. As soon as Eugene ran, Arthur turned his attention to the girl. There were bruises and cuts all over her body, especially on her chest and hips. He shuddered, thinking about what the men did to her.
Arthur unchained [y/n], letting her collapse in his arms. Javier had gone out to the horses and grabbed one of Arthur's long jackets, giving it to Arthur to wrap around [y/n]. "You'll be okay, Darlin'." Arthur whispered as he lifted a sleeping [y/n] onto the back of his horse. "I won't let nobody touch you again."
