Chapter 9:

If it's for you it's fine

Kageyama plan: text hinata to meet somewhere preferred the cat café.
Tell him everything and let him say everything
Talk to his father
If it doesn't work let Hinata live with us until we turn 18 then we'll get an apartment.
"Great plan" he thinks. Then he texts hinata:

Tobio:
Hey Shōyō I'm really sorry about what happened last night. Plea meet with me today at the new café we met a while ago. At 3 pm if possible. Love Tobio.

Shōyō:
Sure I'll come if I
can! Love Shōyō

Kageyama is relived when Hinata answers so happily. So it's 3 pm and kageyama is standing in front of the café.

"He's late" Tobio says under his breath. Shōyō comes running " so sorry I'm late" Shōyō says catching his breath. Kageyama lifts his head kissing him gently. " I thought I'd never see you again. I love you." Kageyama says tears forming in his eyes. Shōyō hugs him and speaks into tobio's shirt: " come on tobio don't cry now I was worried to. My fathers just an arse I'll move out if I have to if it's to have you it's fine and I love you too"

Kageyama pushes him away. Shōyō then takes the opportunity to kiss tobio before he gets a chance. They go inside. "Hello please take a seat wherever you please and let me know if you want to order anything. " the lady at the counter speaks. They sit down and kageyama orders for them. A iced kitty late and a cat foam frappe. " I'll just tell you the whole story from yesterday.
So you get pushed out. And then my Fathers screaming at me and my mom "that it's not ok that I should never see you again and it's not good for me" and so on hinata says fiddling with his finger and looking down. Kageyama can tell he was scared.

" then I screamed back at him that he doesn't know shit and that he doesn't know you and that I don't want him to. And I don't want him to be my father. I tried to leave them but my dad blocked the door and locked me in my room. My mom was just crying she couldn't do anything. So yeah today he went to work that why I could come here. "

he continues. Kageyama is trying to hold back tears he's never that emotional but the thought of what shoyo just said is really getting to him. " I'm sorry but fuck your dad. I'm really mad at him... So um I had a plan. I wanted to speak with him again but only me. (he changed his plan a bit) I want to tell him everything that's happened.

And if he still doesn't accept us then you can live at my house until we turn 18 and then we can rent an apartment. "

he says tears clearing. Shōyō is now looking at him and has stopped fiddling with his fingers. " yeah it's a good plan. But could we remove the talking to my dad part. I think you'll just get a Brocken nose." Shōyō says. " I do want to talk to him and I'll carry the weight of a broken nose for you. " Tobio says. " o-ok" Shōyō stumbles. They leave the cafe after kageyama pays for them both

" thanks tobio" hinata giggles grabbing tobios hand. Kageyama nods and smiles Hinatas way. Kageyamas house. Shōyō walks to the door and tobio opens it. He goes inside and kageyama leaves.

Shōyō closes the door. He's so scared that his father will hurt kageyama. Because he is now on his way to him. Shōyō knows that his father will not except them. That's why he said to leave the talking out. It's kageyamas mum who gets him out of his thoughts.

They talk and drink tea. And later Shōyō falls asleep in tobios room. He put on one of tobios shirts to comfort himself. Then he leaps onto Kageyamas bed and Squeezing his pillow and digging his nose into it.

"It smells like him." He thinks before falling asleep. " hey hinata it's not right what you're doing you'll find a girl eventually. And your no good for kageyama either.

Do you think he would be ok with being with you his whole life?" Oh thats a reassuring dream it's exactly what hinata was thinking. He wakes up in tears Because he now realised he thinks is best for the both of them...
