Ch. 15: Enemies to Friends

Jase's P.O.V 

It's been a three weeks since I returned back to school and it seems that nothing changed. Besides learn Horace's little nerd and Moonlight are much stronger than I thought. 'At least I'm near my brothers though.' I thought to myself.

"So that's why you're trying to change?" I heard Selena's voice. Turned around to see her a long with her cousin's beta. "Do you ever stay of other people's minds?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

"I would if it wasn't the person I hate most." she shot back. Even with me going to Lucifer's therapy sessions she still hold a grudge for what happened at the dance last year. Out of the two of them I prefer it when Ethan keeps an eye on me at least he has the decency to at least try to forget about it.

"Why can't you at least hide your hatred towards me?" I shot at her. I could see her eyes starting to turn red. I couldn't help but smirk. "Easy you two." McCall's beta said getting between us. The McCall pack is well know to vampires and I remembered hearing that Scott's only real beta has anger issues. Selena just growled at me before she stomped off.

At the Black mansion Ethan's P.O.V

Both Scott and my friends hanging out after we explained everything to Simone, Kyle, David and Megan. So far everything seems calm which isn't good especially since Selena, Liam and Jase aren't here. Jase has been making some progress. He's goes and gets therapy for Lucifer. I'm not going to call him Grandpa or anything like that. Suddenly everyone with enhanced hearing including me heard what sound like arguing.

"Sound like their back." Erica sighs. the arguing got louder until we saw Liam trying to stay in between Selena and Jase. Both their eyes were glowing and looked dangerously close attacking each other.

"QUIET!" I shouted using what Scott called the Alpha voice. This got everyone's attention. I noticed Rose's, David's and Selena's eyes glow. I didn't want to use it but those two have been arguing for two weeks.

"How two of the strongest and not dangerous creatures fight as much as you two?" Benny asked. Benny then hid behind Scott when those two glared at him. They went back to arguing.

Suddenly something hit their shoulders causing them to hiss/growl.

"What was that for?!" They shouted.

"You wouldn't stop I had to." Jane said holding a water gun full of holly water and liquid wolfbane. They glared at each other before going separate ways.

"And I thought Trixie was a was a monster." Lucifer voice rang through. He was standing in the door way looking amused. Jane aimed the water gun at him threateningly. "Easy you little monster." He said lowering the gun.

"What are you doing here Lucifer?" I asked. He looked at me with a mocked hurt expression. "What can't the former King of Hell visit his great grandkids and their friends?" Selena, Jane and I looked at each other than at him. "Fine I came here make sure that Selena and Jase don't kill each other." he reveals.

"Why would we do that?" Selena asks glaring at the vampire. Okay I don't like he's back but he's trying and Sarah convinced him to drink animal blood. "Because you both are the most unstable creatures here." Mr. Morningstar answers.

Jase's P.O.V

As much as I hate to admit it Lucifer is right. All I want is to return home, I found it lucky Ethan convinced Selena and the vampire counsel to let me return. I owe him greatly for this. Not that I ever say that out loud. Not that they know but I've kept my eye on them since the dance.

"He's not wrong." Elijah spoke.

"Guys can I please try this spell I found?" the dorky spell master begs. I've seen what he has done if had better aim and could say spells right he might worth being seen as a threat. I could see everyone either looking worried/annoyed.
