The Surprise Arrival of Sister

"Ah, it's great to back in Eastwood." I said with a sighed as I left the airport building. I opened my phone to see that mom texted me, saying that she's almost here. I put it in my pocket and took out two photos; one before the whole titan disaster, and another that was after Bular was defeated. Everyone was smiling and happy, the Akaradians, Douxie, Archie, Nari, Aaarrrgghh, Blinkous, Nomura, Strickler, Aunt Barbara, Claire, Toby, and my cousin Jim. I can't believe he, Nari, Strickler, and Nomura had to die. I looked at the other one, where it was just Jim, Toby, Claire, Aaarrrgghh, Blinkous, NotEnrique, Gnome Chompsky, and my best friend Draal.

My train of thought was broken by a car horn honking. I looked up to see that mom's car parked in front of me, and she was looking at me with a smile. "Come on! It won't be long before Bill gets out of school!" Mom exclaimed from the car.  A smile spread across my face as I grabbed the handle of my suitcase and ran towards the car. I opened the trunk and put in my suitcase, backpack, and other bags and belongings before closing the trunk. I walked around the side of the car and sat down in the front passenger seat, putting on my seatbelt and mom drove off.

"I'm so glad that you get to be back after so long! And I love the outfit and what you did with your hair. So, how was your time in Arcadia, and how are my sister and nephew?" She asked. "Well... it was basically a rollercoaster of emotions. Some good moments, some bad moments, and some others as well. Barbara is doing good, finally got a date, so did Jim. His name was Walter, and Jim dated a girl name Claire. And... a lot of things... happened, that I don't want to talk about." I solemnly sad tone, glancing out the window.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Hey, maybe, when you feel comfortable enough to talk about it, I will always be there to listen." She said as I looked back at her, giving her a sad smile, saying 'okay'. "I'm also thinking about getting a job at an elementary school here, probably a classroom monitor or something." I added. "That's great, Y/n! And surprising considering that you hated anything that was school related." She said. "Heh, yeah, a lot of new things came to me." I said.

"Also why is there a bandage on your right cheek? Did something happen?" She asked, making me widen my eyes, trying to get an excuse as a flashback came into my mind.

-Flashback-

It was when you, Claire, Douxie, Steve, and Jim were transported back in time to the 12th century, and it was from the battle of Killahead Bridge. It was when you were clashing swords with this one Gumm-Gumm and he was about to pierce you when you dodged quickly, but not quick enough apparently for the blade glided against your right cheek, making you suck a breath through your clenched teeth from the stinging sensation.

-Flashback Over-

"Uh... There was... an accident! When Aunt Barbara was... cooking! Yes! Cooking! A knife accidentally slipped out of her hand and flew towards me, grazing my cheek. But it's all good!" I nervously said, hopping she would buy it. "...I can see that happening, considering that she's not so good in the kitchen, am I right?" I laughed, making me laugh along with her, because she was right.

After half an hour later, we arrived back at the house. Mom helped me get my stuff into the house and into my room and left me to do whatever to my room. "Remember what to do?" Mom questioned. "When I hear the front door open, quickly go into Bill's room and surprise him." I said as I set my suitcase on my bed. "Exactly, see you later!" Mom said before she left.

I put up posters on the walls, hanged my shirts and jackets, folded my pants and pj's, putting them in two separated dresser drawers, another one for my socks and underwear, put my pillows in pillowcases, put the bedsheet on the bed, set a blanket on top. Last but not least, I put my two photos in picture frames, and put a picture frame decoration on both of them, making anyone who wasn't human a human appearance; with Blinky looking how he was when he was human, and what Strickler, Nomura, NotEnrique, Aja, Krel, and Varvatos looked like with their human disguises, but everyone else was given different appearances.
