I've run out of ideas to describe their relationship. Oopsies
In the obvious sense, Kurt was her spree driver. He wanted to kill her like he did everyone else but quite literally found it hard to do. Not because she fought back or anything. She'd win that battle with her training. It was like being restrained. She ended up getting attatched after finding out he wanted to kill her and changed his mind.
