the first thing i thought was to save the girl
why, i asked him,
because that's what you're supposed to do right? save the girl. Even if you're scared of being hurt yourself.
nobody tells that story though. That he was shaking on his way into the room. That he was crying on the inside.
Crying on the inside is like tensing your body up so much, there's internal bleeding, you don't notice though, the skin just becomes a bit redder, seems like a blush.
People will see on the news. Man found dead. Girl survives. And then they will say, Good, he did what he was supposed to do.
what if the boy is scared? what if the boy is not brave? does he have to be?
