Episode 39: Waffles

3rd Pov 

The episode opens to show Robin reading a newspaper. Cyborg walks to the kitchen with Beast Boy. "Waffles!" cyborg said. Beast Boy says, "Waffles!" Robin asks, "Excuse me?" Beast Boy says, "Waffles." "Waffles?" Robin asks. "Waffles!" Cyborg says nodding. 

Anna enters the kitchen. "Waffles?" Anna asks. "Waffles!" Beast Boy and Cyborg said in union. Robin asks, "Wait. What?" Raven was floating across the kitchen and she says, "Obviously they're playing some idiotic game to see who can go the longest saying only "waffles". " " Waffles!" Beast Boy said as he was pointing at Raven. Cyborg was pointing at Raven as he says, "Waffles!" "Oh! I wish to participate in this merriment. Waffles!" Anna said.  Beast Boy was tsking.  "Waffles." He said. "But how does one say waffles incorrectly?" Anna asks. 

Robin says, "Look, guys. Saying "waffles" over and over isn't funny. It's annoying. Please stop."  Cyborg inhales and says, "WAAAAAAFFFFFLLLLLEEEEESSSSS" He spits on Robin's cheek who then wipes it off with a handkerchief. Beast Boy says, "Waffles!" 

Robin growls and aims a birdarang launcher at Beast Boy and Cyborg, who flinch in terror. Anna knocks the weapon aside. "What Robin is trying to say is that we are having trouble understanding the point of your "waffles" game. Perhaps you can explain it more." Anna said. 

Beast Boy and Cyborg: ♪Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Waffles, waffles, wa-ffles. Wa-a-a-a-ffles. Waffles, waffles! Waffles, waffles! Waffles, waffles! Waffles, waffles!♪

Raven says, "Wow. Incredibly annoying. Let's change the subject. Quick." Robin says/asks, "Good idea. How 'bout I make breakfast? What do you guys feel like?" Beast Boy and Cyborg says in union, "Waffles!" "Of course you do." Robin said. 

Robin makes waffles through scene transitions as jazz music plays in the background.

"Waffles." Beast Boy says raising eyebrows at Raven. "Right." Raven says while blushing. Robin was holding a plate of waffles. "Here you go. Waffles." He said. "Waffles! Waffles! Waffles!" Beast Boy said knocking the plate onto Robin. Cyborg was shaking his head and said/asks, "Waffles! Waffles? Waffles. Waffles." 

Anna asks annoyed, "Is that not what you asked for?" Cyborg was holding up a picture of a sandwich and says, "Waffles." Robin peels the waffles off his face and sighs. "It's gonna be a long day." "Waffles." Beast Boy said.  Robin growls and aims his birdarang launcher at Beast Boy. 

*That night (described as "A little waffle later").*

The Titans are gathered in the living room.

Beast Boy says, "Waffles." Cyborg says, "Waffles. Waffles." "Waffles. Waffles. Waffles. Waffles." Beast Boy said. 

Robin types on the control panel as Raven reads and Anna watches. Raven asks, "Something up?"Robin says. "Maybe." He picks SOS icon as a map of Jump City scrolls until arriving at a warehouse. "The computer's picking up a strange distress signal from the other side of town. I think we should check it out." Robin said. "Then we are with you." Anna said. Raven says, "Let's do it." Robin says, "Titans, go!'' The Titans run for the elevator.
