PART 4• after-school club

A week had already passed, and I was getting more and more comfortable at school. Me, Itadori, and the others also got closer. We ate lunch together and talked about various topics. When school ended, it was time for me to go to the club Itadori invited me to.

I waited in my classroom for itadori to come back from the bathroom. "Ah Y/N are you ready to go?" Itadori said while leaning against the doorframe. "I'll be right, wait for me so we can together, please." I took my bag and joined Itadori in the hallway.

"So what do you guys do in this club?" I asked. Itadori rubbed his neck and chuckled. "Well, we're currently investigating a ghost that might be lingering around the sports field." "Ah I see, so how is it going so far?" "Well it's going pretty good, but we might need your brains to solve this." I had helped Itadori a lot with his math homework since he was failing, and surprisingly, he was doing better. "Ah, my brains, huh, you're saying that because I helped you with your homework?"

"Oh yeah, thank you for that. You're such  a good friend it's like I don't deserve you're kindness, you know?"  That took me by surprise.  "didn't deserve MY kindness?" I thought. If you only knew how much I appreciated you're kindness Itadori. I nudged his armed and replied, "Stop saying stuff like that. You're a great friend, Itadori." 

"Yeah, friend..." I heard him mumble, followed with an eye roll. Was he annoyed? Maybe I should've said something more appreciative, like, "You're the kindest friend I have" or something. "Are you okay, Itadori?" I asked with concern in my voice. His eyes looked at mine with regret. "I'm sorry if I came off as annoyed, I'm not believe me." I just smiled at him. We then arrived at the club room.   He opened the door for me, letting me walk in first. He followed up behind me, closing the door.

The room was dark, and there was nobody in it except for me and Itadori, at least I thought. "BOO!" The other two club members appeared from behind the big closet. I quickly grabbed onto Itadori's arm and intertwined our hands together as I screamed. "YOU GUYS, I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK I SCREAMED!" They both laughed and then looked at us. "So, are you guys a couple now?" We looked confused but then saw I was still holding his hand. I quickly pulled away and shook my head.

"No were not guys." Itadori said in a pretty serious tone. We then sat down at the table and looked at the papers of research in front of us. "All right, let's begin this meeting!"
