Denise knocked on the door, and she could hear from inside some sort of mumbling from a familiar voice that wasn't Seth's. A few seconds later Seth opened the door and greeted Denise with a grin. Seth moved to the side to let her in. When she walked in she was greeted by an odd sight.
Katie was sitting on the couch facing the tv in pajama pants and her beast mode shirt. Denise stopped in her tracks and with a very confused voice turned to Seth and asked
"Why are they here?" raising her eyebrow at him.
Katie turned to look at Denise with wide eyes surprised by her presence. Seth closed the door behind them, a awkward smile on his lips.
"So you see, we're actually twins." Seth said with a shaky voice.
Denise quickly looked between the two twins while Katie gets up and makes her way over to the two.
"BUT SHE'S WHITE? LOOK HOW WHITE SHE IS HOW ARE YOU GUYS TWINS?" Denise yelled in a very confused way
"Well you know how puppies born in litters usually look different, well that's us, we're fraternal twins" Seth says with slight amusement in his voice.
Katie just stands there silently and Denise speaks again.
"Bu-but your brother is Dillon?" Denise says still completely confused.
"He's not actually my brother, he's just my cousin. Seth is my real brother."
It smells a lot like dog in here. Denise thinks to herself as she takes in the information she just learned.
"Well I don't really know what to say, soooo Seth did you still want to work on the project?" Denise asks turning to him with an awkward smile.
This makes Katie mad, and she starts to get hot, shaking slightly her voice coming out as a low growl as she mumbles
"Whatever I can't do this right now."
Then she storms off leaving Seth and Denise in an awkward silence, before a knock is heard on the door.
"I'll get that." Denise says as she makes her way towards the door.
I thought I was their only friend? They lied to me about their brother? They acted like they didn't know Seth? How well do I really know Katie? Denise thinks to herself as she opens the door.
She's greeted by a tan, muscular, shirtless, stud standing in the doorway.
"Hey is Katie home?" The mystery boy says to Seth who Denise now notices is much closer to her than she thought.
"Yeah they just went up to their room" Seth says to him nodding his head in the direction of the stairs.
The boy nods his head and turns to Denise before asking
"Who are you?"
Before Denise can respond Seth quickly says
"That's Denise, she's my girlfriend"
Denise quick let turns to look at Seth. When they lock eyes she gets this weird feeling in her chest like everything just shifted.
"Well I'm Jacob and I'm gonna go find Katie" The boy says breaking the awkward silence before walking away.
As soon as he leaves Denise turns to Seth and says
"Your girlfriend? What was that all about?" With a confused look on her face.
"I just had to make a point to Jacob so that he didn't confuse what was mine with what was his." He says with a smirk on his face.
Denise blushes, her face turning bright red before she changes the subject.
