The Last Meet?

    And so that was it, Xie Lian thought, tilting his head, "What do you mean San Lang?" He asked, sounding doubtful.
"Just what I said, I'll be gone a while, gege." Hua Cheng said, clear regret in his voice.
"Wait, I'll find a way!" Xie Lian exclaimed, running over to Hua Cheng as the ghost erupted into a cloud of silver butterflies. "San Lang!" Xie Lian yelled out, only to be met by the silver butterflies flying past him.

Xie Lian sighed, sitting in the Xianle Palace, writing a letter, he had spaced out for a moment, not realizing that he was writing about Hua Cheng. Xie Lian gasped for a moment, quickly balling up and throwing the letter away.
"Your Highness." A soft voice rang in his ears.
Xie Lian smiled, putting two fingers up to his temple and saying in his usual calm voice, "Yes Ling-Wen?"
"The Heavenly Emperor wishes to speak to you."
Xie Lian felt a little startled by being summoned by the Heavenly Emperor, before saying calmly, "Thank you Ling-Wen."
"You're welcome, Your Highness." Ling-Wen said, smiling to herself from her desk, glad to know that at least someone appreciated her work.
Xie Lian stood up from his desk, being sure to keep his desk organized as he left the Xianle Palace, walking to the Palace of Divine Might.
A heavenly official greeted him with a nod, allowing Xie Lian in the Palace, greeted by Jun Wu sitting in his chair, which could easily fit ten people.
"My Lord." Xie Lian said, bowing.
"Xianle." Jun Wu said coldly, standing up and walking over to Xie Lian.
What did I do now? Xie Lian thought.
"There have been many issues in the south. I would like you to investigate them." Jun Wu stated.
"Yes, My Lord." Xie Lian bowed again, leaving the Palace of Divine Might and jumping back to the mortal realm.

He fell down and crashed as per usual.
So Xie Lian got his compass, and started walking, heading as far south as he could.
Hours passed as Xie Lian walked. As the climate grew colder, Xie Lian stopped to talk to a local, trying to figure out where he was. He let out an exasperated sigh as he finally reached the city he needed too.
