Huang wanted nothing more in the world than to get away from the criminals. That had been his intention from the day the apocalypse started, but Wei's threat of being hunted if you ran had been enough to keep him with the Prison Group. Not that they were all bad. Huang rather liked Tarik and the twins.
Wei terrified him. There was no telling what he would do. He always had an eerie sense of calm about him, even when he was thinking about killing someone. Huang knew that he was dangerous, so he tried his best to reason with him when he could. No need to get on the serial killer's bad side.
The thing that bothered Huang was that he wasn't only being forced to stay with the group, he also had to stand by and watch as Wei ruthlessly tortured and murdered everyone they came across. Huang had tried to get Wei to just kill them, but there was no satisfying Rick's lust for giving pain.
A twig snapped somewhere ahead of them. Wei's lips slowly curled into a smirk as he crept forward. There was someone in front of them. Someone who Wei was going to kill. Instantly all of the guys were moving, surrounding whoever was making the noise.
Huang held up his rifle and side stepped until he was on the opposite flank of the people making the noise.
"We should be about ten minutes away from it at this point," a man's voice says.
"Darren, I need to take a break."
"Fine, but it's gotta be quick. I've got this weird feeling that there are zombies close."
Huang's head lowered. A couple. They were going to kill this poor couple. Huang heard the whistle and he walked into the clearing where the couple had rested, the rest of the guys all walking in as well. The man jumped to his feet, holding up an axe.
"Who are you? What are you doing?" He fired off the questions quickly, the panic evident in his face. He tried to get in between the Prisoners and the woman, but wherever he stood, one of them was behind him.
Wei stepped forward first, calm and cool as always. "Rick, take the man first." Rick chuckled and stepped towards the couple, with his pistol in hand. The man looked horrified, he knew he was helpless.
"You have two options. Drop the axe, or I'll blow your brains out," Rick said. You'd think that Wei would scare Huang more, what with his kill count literally in the hundreds, but the torture that Rick inflicted on all of his victims chilled Huang to the bones much more than Wei's decisive murders. Wei didn't like a messy corpse, he just wanted to see the light leave his victims eyes. For this reason Rick and Wei were what could only be described as a perfect duo. Rick would rip them to shreds, making them long for death and then Wei would slit their throats quickly and methodically.
The man dropped the axe. Rick's lips curled up on one side as he sauntered over to the man and grabbed him by the arm, pinning it behind his back. The man cried out, but Rick did not even hesitate to keep pushing the arm up, until eventually it snapped. The man howled, falling to his knees.
The woman started trying to hit Rick and pull him off of her husband. Rick flung her to the side. Huang stepped forward and grabbed the woman, pulling her in front of him, pinning her arms behind her back and pushing her to her knees. He knelt over to her ear.
"When he starts on you, give up quickly, the longer you fight, the longer he will torture you," he whispered in her ear. She let out a guttural sob, realizing that there was nothing she could do to survive this.
He started with just simply beating the man, but quickly tired of that and cut off one of his fingers. The man vomited and almost lost consciousness, but Rick kept slapping his face to keep him awake. He yanked on his hair and stabbed his palms.
