Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying my book so far, as I've put a lot of work into getting it where it is today. I just wanted to leave a not here saying that, while I have written and rewritten all of the chapters I have posted so far, I am aware that I have likely made many errors, be it grammar or continuity. If you see one of these errors, please do not give up on my story, if you point them out, I will definitely fix them. I have no editor for my stories, and do all of the work for them (writing, editing, posting, cover design) by myself, so I am sure to miss a few things. Likewise, if at any point you see something that comes off as offensive to any group, be that racial groups, LGBTQ+, Disabled (physical or mental), or anything else, please point it out to me, because I have absolutely no intention of writing anything that could be perceived as offensive, but as a straight, white, able-bodied, neuro-typical woman, I am not educated on absolutely everything, so it is possible that something could be offensive that I do not know/understand. That being said, the actions and words of my characters absolutely do not represent my opinions or thoughts. This book takes place in Texas, and there are several characters who will make comments in the book that are not okay to say, but that are part of their character. It is important to show these characters in media because they do exist and part of being an artist is representing all people, not just the good ones. Although it is important, as a writer, to never display this toxic, inappropriate behaviour in a good light. So while not every character that says/does racist, homophobic, sexist, etc... things is going to be the devil, I will never paint them in a good light. Humans are multifaceted and someone can be a loving grandpa one moment and call a gay person the f slur the next. One of the characters in this book is like this, he is a great father and husband and very loving to his family, but at the same time, he's a real asshole to a lot of the other characters, I will portray him in both ways.

Anyways, that was a long note, but to rehash, please feel free to correct me, should I mess up. Thank you so much and please enjoy my book!
