Jisung held the soft fabric that laid in his hands fussing with the drawer strings. His cheeks burned so much just thinking about how his crush gave him his hoodie to wear. The fabric was so soft against the tips of his fingers and the part that made him the most flustered was how it smelled exactly like Minho. He didn't know if that was weird to think about or if it was creepy.
He pulled the hoodie over his head and jumped down from his bed to go look in the mirror. It was a big grey hoodie that hanged right above his knees. The texture was so soft it suddenly started to make Jisung tired. But he still couldn't help but get so easily flustered at the idea of this hoodie being Minho's. His fingers fussed at the drawer strings even more and his teeth tugged at his lower lip. He could feel his heart pump between his chest thumping loud into his ears. It was pointless to get his hopes up and Minho giving him his hoodie was making his hopes go way up. Jisung knew he had to accept the fact Minho didn't like him, but it was okay to dream a little.
The door to his room opened causing him to jump and turn to look who it was. He closed his eyes with a sigh before turning back to the mirror.
"Hey Chan."
His brother leans on his door. "Whatchu you doing?"
"Watering the dog." He looks at him pointing at the mirror. "Obviously looking at myself."
Chan chuckles. "Who put you in a bad mood."
Jisung shook his head flattening out the grey oversized hoodie with his small hands. "Sorry..."
Chan walks over to place a hand on his head and ruffle the dark head of hair playfully.
"I just came in here to tell you I have a friend coming over." He glances at the room. "Just so you know."
Jisung nods focusing on himself more than his brother. "Alright, have fun."
As soon as Chan started to leave, he took one more glance at Jisung. "Hey, is that your hoodie?"
His heart pumped an extra beat. He forgot that Minho was his older brother's friend. How would Chan react finding out his brother was wearing his friend's hoodie?
"Yeah- It... it's mine." Jisung mumbled avoiding eye contact through the mirror.
Chan stepped closer examine more of it. "Funny..." He started.
Jisung turned to look at him blinking innocently. "Funny?"
"Yeah." Chan nodded.
"Looks a whole lot like Minho's hoodie."
Jisung gulped massaging his neck. "That is funny!..."
Because it is his...
"No, he wore that today at school." Chan tugged at the hoodie sleeve just for Jisung to pull it away silently.
"That is his hoodie!"
Jisung turned red. He was definitely screwed. "And...?" He even dared to ask.
"Is there something going on between you two?"
Jisung looked into his eyes tightening his fist. "No. I... I was just—you see, I was just cold..."
By the looks of his brother, he did not believe him.
"You're dating Minho?"
"I just said I was cold Chan!"
He could feel tears well up in his eyes.
Why am I so weak?
His hands brushed the tears away before he actually began to cry. "Would it be a problem if I..."
