chapter 1: before it began

Aoi's pov

It was around 5 In the morning a of course I was still awake watching bsd it was my favorite anime after all! How could I not like it my favorite character would have to be dazi he's just so funny and relatable

'I would love to be in that anime and have a cool ability maybe flight?' I think to myself I said to myself before I heard my stomach growling "hmm I should get something to eat but what shou-" I was cut off by the sound of screaming I quickly snapped my head to the sound it was coming from my mom's room slowly I went to check it out" m-mom you ok?" I said scared but when I opened the door I couldn't believe my eyes my mom was bleeding out on the floor" mom! Please be alright stay with me" I yelled panicking trying to stop her bleeding but suddenly I hear someone behind me"well well~"the sound of a men's voice ring though my ears as I turned around now facing the man"my you look so scared thats not how you greet a guest now" the strange man said "w-what do you want why did you do this!" I said shaking holding my mom close

The man moved closer "why am I doing this? well because I'm tired of seeing happy familys that should have been me!" The man said aggressively luning at me I quickly moved away running to leave before I heard a long bang suddenly feeling a warm liquid flowing down my face I then realized I was shot as I fell to the ground the last thing I heard was"I glad your gone I hope your next life is just as bad as mine"not to long after hearing that I lost conscious

After some time I hear voices around me as I slowly opened my eyes I see a white ceiling "I see your awake" I heard a voice say when I look to who it was I couldn't believe my eyes Dazai "wait how am i- I could have sworn I was dead did I get reincarnated?" I whispered to myself looking over at Dazai "um if I may how did I get here?" I asked "well me a my coworker found you outside almost bleeding to death and brought you in I must know how did you end up like that"

When he asked me that I wonder if I should tell the truth after a little bit of thinking I decided to tell the truth after all what could go wrong "well you see I don't really know but last I remember I was murdered and to tell you the truth I think I was reincarnated you see because your a character from my favorite anime an-" I said but was cut off as he gave me a dark look "do you think I will believe something like that now start telling me the truth or this won't be easy" he said in a threating tone....
