Luna's POV-
Miguel and I are what my mom always called " Almas Gemelas" (soul mates)
Ever since we were two, he and I have been inseparable, well until he left of course. Mikey always had a passion for modeling and acting, so I knew one day he'd have his "big break."
Miguel left about a year ago to film The Black Phone, he had a pretty big role. I can't wait for him to come back because so many things have happened that I want to gossip with him about.
While he's been gone, I've gotten really close with my other friends, Sawyer and Mia. I've known Sawyer almost as long as I've known Mikey. Sawyer and I met in preschool and she's always been the kind of friend that I can count on to lift my spirits. My friend Mia and I met in seventh grade and she is the sweetest and most caring person I know. It always seemed as if God sent an angel down in the form of Mia.
Now, everyday afterschool the girls and I go to my family's restaurant to eat and gossip about the school day. There's a wall almost filled to the roof with pictures of me and my family growing up, but my favorite one is the one of Miguel and I we took before he left.
He and I haven't talked since he left, so sometimes I wonder if he even still cares about me.
I know I still care about him.

Miguel's POV-
Growing up I always had that one person who'd be in my corner no matter what happened. It was Luna. She and I always had the most amazing times together and I always considered her another sister to me. Getting the role in TBP was one of the best things that happened to me. I'll admit, I could've done better about staying in contact with my friends from home. Because of this, I feel like Luna and I's connection might be gone. I'm worried she might resent me for "forgetting about her."
I could never forget about her though.
