Chapter name: STAR
In a van parked on a busy street, a man in a black hood was fiddling with his cell phone, not paying attention to the name of the person he was talking to. He only cared about the message he had just received: "Package will be captured today." He smiled mischievously and quickly typed, "Great. I'm ready. Where and when?"
Meanwhile, in a park at night, an extremely illuminated city served as the setting for a major event. A stage was set up in the center, and on it was the group Asterisk, the sensation of the moment in the idol world. Sakura, a 16-year-old leader of the group, was in the dressing room getting ready. Sakura was a beautiful girl with freshly dyed blue hair, which contrasted with her brown eyes. Her advisor Okada was in the dressing room talking to her.
Okada said: "Today there is no way to escape, you need to use this." He pointed to a rack with a set of clothes that looked like something out of a children's cartoon. It was a yellow shirt with a red bow, a plaid school skirt with yellow knee-high socks that matched the shirt, and white velcro sneakers.
Sakura grimaced when she saw the outfit.
Sakura said, "Do I really need to use this?" She was on her cell phone, checking social media and seeing fan comments. She knew they loved her for her talent and charisma, but also for her cute and innocent image.
Okada said, "Sakura, you know it's because of this sponsor that the concert and the world tour will happen." He was referring to a children's fashion brand that had clothes that a baby would wear, but in a teenager's size. They had made a million-dollar contract with the group Asterisk, and demanded that they wear their clothes in every performance.
Sakura sighed. She knew how difficult it was to stay in the idol world, and she needed to stand out to achieve big things. The solution was to be childish, even if it didn't suit her personality. She said, "Okay, I'll use it." She took the hanger and went to the dressing room.
Okada was happy and left the dressing room because of a call. He had to sort out some details about the show and the tour. He didn't know he was being followed by a man in a black hood, who had a sinister plan in mind.
The makeup artist entered the dressing room and started working on Sakura. She applied light foundation, pink blush, black eyeliner, blue eyeshadow, black mascara and pink lipstick. She also put some sparkly stickers on Sakura's face for a finishing touch. Sakura looked in the mirror and almost didn't recognize herself. She looked like a doll.
She thought, "Is this worth it? Am I selling out for fame and money? Am I betraying my dreams?" She shook her head and tried to push away those negative thoughts. She remembered how she loved singing and dancing, how she wanted to make people happy with her music, how hard she had worked to get here.
She said to herself, "The show must go on. I will do my best. I will shine like a star." She smiled confidently and left the dressing room, ready to go on stage.
