Roommates[Kaiser x Isagi]

Chapter 9

Kaiser winced a bit as he felt a sharp pain in his hand. He shifted a bit, opening his eyes. The room was dark but it had light enough that he could see around a bit. He looked down at his arm and noticed Isagi was sleeping next to him using his arm as a pillow. He was wearing Kaiserʼs oversized shirt, making him look smaller than he actually was.

Kaiser pulled away his arm from under Isagiʼs head, making sure not to accidentally wake him up. He was sleeping in a foetal position, and Kaiserʼs hair strands were intertwined in his fingers.

Kaiser got up from the bed and moved to the other side to find his phone which was probably on the nightstand.

He clicked the power button and immediately ely bright light stung his eyes. He clicked his tongue as he proceeded to lower the brightness.

It was still early morning, 5:06 am to be exact. Kaiser had no particular plans for today. He definitely wasnʼt going for extra practice with Ness.

His body was till aching and his back was completely scratched up from last night. He chuckled a bit as he turned out off the phone. He placed it back on the nightstand, as he walked to the washroom. He made sure to close the door before turning on the light. The washroom flooded with light as Kaiser moved towards the mirror.

His bare skin was covered with scratches and bites. He sighed as he turned the tap on, as cold water ran. He cupped his hands and splashed the cool water on his face, making the last hints of sleepiness wash away. He then grabbed a towel laying beside the sink, using it wash his face.

He turned off the light and exited the washroom, walking towards the bed. As he approached the bed he could hear slight whimpering from Isagi. He smiled to himself and moved closer to the edge of the bed to get a better view of his face.

He seemed to be trying to reach out to something, as his hands moved towards Kaiserʼs side of the bed. Kaiser took the hint and immediately reached out his hand to hold Isgaiʼs, as he slept.The whimpering stopped and was replaced by Isagi tightly clutching onto Kaiserʼs hand.

'For a person so loud and irritating he can be cuteʼ

Kaiser thought to himself as his smile grew and he lifted the cover and slipped under them, sitting right next to

sleeping Isagi.

He started to fiddle with Isgaiʼs hair strands as the latter continued sleeping

'Either heʼs a heavy sleeper or I was too rough with him last nightʼ

Kaiser looked at Isagi for the next few minutes before he reached out and grabbed his phone. He turned it on and went straight to the camera app, adjusting the lens to fully focus on Isgaiʼs unguarded face. He took a few pictures before noticing his notification bar. There were a lot of random notifications but also a lot of messages and calls from Ness. Somethingʼs he had ignored as his phone was on silent the entire day. He opened the messaging screen and answered to the last message written by Ness.

'Are you coming for practice tomorrow morning?ʼ Delivered at 10:30 pm

Ness at this end

Kaiser sighed typed an one word answer to the question and hit send.

'Noʼ

The reply came almost immediately form Nessʼs end.

'What? Why? Something wrong or need help with?ʼ

Kaiser paused for a second thinking, 'What the hell? Was he waiting for me reply all night or what?ʼ He then typed

the same word as an answer
