In past three days I had operated over six patients. The casualty was full with peculiar cases of accidents. Mostly men's, and two of them were bikers.

My mind was continuously flooding with negative thoughts about Taehyung. I was worried about him, and he had no time to glance at his phone.

He had the given me the contact number of his Friend and his brothers. What's the benifit? They were shadows of each other. None of them worth the trust.

It was Saturday, and I was still at home. Because I received a death threat last night, Tara had shifted my schedule to make it clear we're going for shopping.

"Atleast take a bath!" I had just taken a bath, and she is insulting me like this.

"Mom!" I don't even look that bad. I glared at her, I'm a senior surgeon for them. Don't disrespect me in front of them.

Kat started looking everywhere else but me, awkwardly and Tara had tried her best to keep herself from laughing. They have never seen someone talking to me like that, but she is my mom.

"You're going to get married, and still you're all about whine. whine. whine. Grow up!"

"OKay, chill," I turned to face Kat and Tara, "—we'll leave for shopping, let's have breakfast."

They had left their home this early in the morning to make my day, and set me up for the first dinner that I referred as a date.

It was a ladies breakfast setup. Dad left the home without having breakfast, otherwise he would be on the ninth cloud to know, I do have friends.

Chit chatting was never this fun.

Gossiping is definitely in blood of womens. It's amazing how they can instantly tell the vibe of a person, and make someone at ease with the unending topics they can talk about.

I was admiring my mom and her instant bonding with Tara and kat. Their laugh echoed in the room, when mom told them a her hostel days inside jokes.

"Okay, tell me why do you think women's wear panties with flowers on it?"

It would have been embarrassing if Tara and kat weren't behaving like her long lost besties.

"Because they are pretty?" Kat was confused with her own answer.

"No," her face went to a relaxed state, "they are in the loving memory of all the faces that were buried there."

My goodness, Mom. No! I might have wheezed a bit.

"Hell yeah!" Tara did a high five with my mom, and so did kat. Bursting in laughter all together.

If she didn't had stack of assignments for the marking. I would have asked her to join us. Her fashion was timeless.

"You have a bodyguard too?" Kat was new to my friend circle, un aware of all the restrictions I had to go out and have careless fun like other people at my age. I had to earned my freedom, with a trust, that I recently lost again.

When I first met Taehyung.

I remember when I met a man who was bleeding on the road side, in dark streets of the outskirts of downtown. A tall man, covered in dirt, was bleeding from his mouth. A lot of scratches here and there.

My inner dream was awaken, I always wanted to be a doctor that gets to save someone outside of the hospital, I wanted to feel proud of myself and my abilities.

And that dream got stuck in my breath,  when he growled grabbing my wrist that reached out to him gently. His stare, had my lungs stop functioning for the moment.

"I - I can help you." A gasp left my mouth, I kept my palms on my face, when he pulled out a revolver.

"Back off!" He gritted his teeths, and I immediately took steps back. My body was covered in cold sweat, afraid I might die then and there.

I shook my head at the memory, that night was a rollercoaster of emotions. I had saved that man. Only for him to become a person so important in my life, that I'm afraid to live without him.

"I have people always looking out for me. My dad's a businessmen. He fancied keeping bodyguards."

"That's one weird flex, but why?"

"I'm in love with a criminal. Didn't I told you before?" I say with a grin on my face, and kat shook her head, taking her space in backseat.

It took us three hours to shop, a pair of elegant heels, a white silk backless dress and two gold, promise rings. It was thin, barely noticeable on a tan skinned person. Like me, and him.

"Alyssa- the black one."

"Are you even listening? The black. I think maroon overdoes it, like not that chick pretty to wear it on the first date. Right?"

"Same, I was about to say the same." I nodded not really sure what should I wear.

If the date was with Taehyung, I would have willingly choosen a provocative dress, it's lovely watching him being authoritative and pissed off when anyone else stares at me.

But it's a first date, with a choosen stranger.

"It's kind of too much for the date. I mean, not that much —

"Wear burkha then. I'm done helping her."

"It's lovely Alyssa, I mean look at the flawless look. It's like it's made for you."

"You sound like a salesman right now."

"Told you, she's impossible. Wear a hanbok, men love women in traditional dresses. A perfect dress for a arranged marriage date." Tara exaggerated her hand gesture to depict the scene of the date, with a traditional bride on left and groom on the right. Her dripping sarcasm had me chuckling.

"Fine. It's the last look. I'm buying it."

The dress was pretty, a non-stretchable one piece, all black. With a beautiful display of my back, but I've got long hairs covering my back. So I didn't mind it much.

"I guess we're done now."

"Makeup? Hairs? Gurl we need to pay a visit to beauty parlour as well."

If God decides to make me a women in next life as well, I hope I have a evergreen tree of dollars in my garden.
