Second Person POV

"Y/n!" An unfortunately familiar voice called out
as the other second years and you were heading
to the fields to train where Gojo happened to
just be training the first years. Yet you still look
over to see what he wants, seeing him gesture for
you to come over there. "Wanna beat up some
first years?" He then shouts towards you again as
the questions perks your interest and that they
were all standing around looking particularly
bored. "Fine!" You shout back at him, heading
to where the four of them stood on the field.

"Yuji over here needs himself a stronger opponent
and I can't just have him keep beating the other
two." Gojo explains whilst you nod along, glancing
to see the pink haired boy practically beaming.
Personally you haven't seen him fight before but
you've heard that he's insanely strong and taken
on tough opponents before. Yet this moment felt
very much like déjà vu. Then it clicks in your head.
"Didn't you do the same thing with me last year
before Yuta became difficult to beat?" You
inquired to Gojo, "Yep when I got you to fight the
second years which are now the suspended third years." He confirms, it was an utter pain
going up against them.

"So you're giving your students the same form of
torture." You sarcastically remark as you pull out
the Sai from the inside of the uniform, wanting to
make this a fair fight. Then you stood there fists
ready to begin whilst Itadori did the same as well.
"Let's lay ground rules, no weapons or cursed
energy attacks. Just simple hand to hand combat."
Gojo states as he then glances at Megumi and
Nobara. "And I suggest for others to stand back
away from these two." He adds on as two do exactly
that no questions asked, already knowing why.
Probably standing about a good twenty metres
away from were the fight was going to happen.

"Now feel free to begin." Gojo gives the signal
as for a few seconds neither of you make a move,
waiting for the other to throw the first hit in.
Until then it was Itadori who decided to throw
the punch which you easy blocked and followed it
with a jab. Though he recovered quickly with a
kick towards your head, causing you to flip backwards. This created distance for the both of
you, deciding to make the next hit with a hook
punch. Itadori had managed to block it and follow
it up with one inch punch with the small opening
that you left unguarded. Hitting right against
the ridge of your collar bone.

"You actually landed a hit on me." You were very
much impressed, despite him being trained by the
Gojo— stil he learnt a lot considering how long he
had been here. "That's my student for you. Don't
hold back on him now. Or have you gotten a bit
soft too?" Gojo was teasing you from the sidelines.
Clearly his motive was to push the both of you
to your limits without any curse energy. For you
were deciding on ignoring that nuisance of a
teacher. Letting Itadori go for another hit again,
dodge it this time via pivoting to the side as you
grab his arm then hook your leg around. Then you
used your strength to flip him onto the ground,
landing him on his stomach whilst you used one
leg to apply pressure on his lower back whilst the
other was on his free arm.

"You shouldn't be so repetitive with your moves and
have various patterns." You let go of him as he rolls
over on his back laughing causing you to raise a
brow. "Thanks for the fight, Y/n. I can see why your
really respectable not that I didn't respect you
before." Itadori then sits up properly. "Yuji there is
definitely potential, you just need to train more.
Maybe you should join with us second years and the
others are free to do so." You offer out your hand
for him as he takes, pulling him off the ground.
"You let him hit you the first time didn't you?" Gojo
moves closer to you two as he pats both of you on
the back. Of course he had you all figured out.
"What do you think? Obviously I did, never play
your cards first." He chuckles, knowing full well that
his teachings still stuck to you from ever since
you were younger.

"What are you smiling to yourself about?" You ask,
inconspicuous of Gojo's behaviour. "Nothing, don't
worry about it." He casually brushes is off, probably
just being his weird usual self. Deciding to not
really let it bother you, "By the way you have a
mission this afternoon. You'll be leaving after lunch."

•••

You stood at the front of the school waiting for
your assistant advisor to arrive, though what wasn't
expected was Toge being here. Seeing him standing
there put you in a brief moment of confusion as
Gojo didn't mention this was a partnered mission.
Not that there was any complaints about being with
him, of course. "Kelp,"he waved as you returned
the gesture. "Didn't know you were coming with me."
You comment seeing Gojo walking over towards you
two, grinning mischievously. It was obvious he had
pulled something in, you could tell from one look
alone. "Here to wave off my favourite student!"
He beams which causes you to roll your eyes at
him, knowing that he was being sarcastic with that
nickname.

"Really? How considerate, don't go burning your
home down."Jesting slightly with that remark,
though he has almost done it before. "That was like
one time when you were twelve." The man gets
all defensive as he acts all hurt by it. Though in the
distant you can see the same black car the advisor's
used pulling up. "Though on the topic when are you
coming back? You're always welcome to stay." Gojo
assures, you knew he was speaking truthfully. He
wouldn't have taken you and your cousins in if
you weren't welcomed at all. "Maybe when it's the
holidays, I pity your old ass." The card pulls up as
it was Ijichi who gets out of the car, bowing formally
towards the three of you.

"Afternoon, Ijichi!" Gojo practically shouts as the
man looks so anxious around him already, not
even being here for a minute. "Shall we go over the
mission details now or when we travel there?" He
asks Inumaki and you as he did briefly wave off
Gojo. "When we travel there, the quicker we leave.
The less time we spend with this oldie." You were
obviously referring to the insufferable teacher.
"We'll see you later, old man." You wave him off
before getting into the car with Toge whilst Ijichi
enters into the drivers seat. Though just before
you go he rolls down the window as Gojo tapped
on it. "Don't push yourself, okay? And call if it
gets serious." He advises, sounding more serious
than he did before. All you could do was nod,
soon enough you guys are leaving, neither Inumaki
or you had a clue.

-I'm officially having a break from this fic, I really
want to work on another one that'll be released
soon. I feel satisfied with what I've came up with
so far but I rather not rush and be sure of what
I write. In other words I want to be happy with
what I publish so this "break" is really just to set
my thoughts straight on what I'll write for this
fic.

Have a great Christmas everyone and a Happy
New Year. Hope y'all enjoy yourselves ❤️
