*Snore*

BEEP BEEP BEEP!!

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. At least it didn't have a snooze button that was easy to reach. Although, I would have just thrown it. Anyway, I have SERIOUS  jet lag, so I had eye bags. People think it's my makeup because of my darker skin. Thank goodness for that. I stick out a lot though, but I don't care anyway. I had just flown in from England, but to prepare for this moment, I had been studying Korean for a long time. I do know the language by heart, but sometimes all I feel like I can say is "hello", "no", and "can you go?".

"Y/N!! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR THE BUS!!" My mom yelled out.

"Frick," I mumbled. I quickly ate my food and rushed out the door. "ALRIGHT! BYE MOM!"

I ran to the bus, just in time. I didn't know how things worked around here. This was my first day in Busan, and I didn't want to mess it up like my first day at Worthgate School. Anyway, my new school was shockingly close to Haeundae Beach, which seemed like a terrible idea. But, at least my friend (Lisa) was going to this school. We had been friends since kindergarten, and ever since, we had been inseparable. 

"Hey!..Lisa!" I called out until I noticed she was surrounded by her new friends. She was like the queen bee in this new school! How did she even make friends so fast?! This is our first day! They all gossiped about me. I could hear their mean words, even if they were talking in Korean.

"Who are you?.." Lisa rolled her eyes.

"What?! You don't remember me?! I'm Y/N!! Yinnie!!"  I sighed.

"OHH!! HI YINNIE!" Lisa smiled a fake smile. I sighed with relief. At least she knew me. "Well, I have...erm...Student Council?..."

"Lisa, it's the first day of s-" One of her friends butted in.

"Shut up." She snarled.

Oh. She's changed. A lot.

I thought about it. What was I getting myself into?.. As I thought, I accidentally bumped into a girl.

"Sorry, sorry.." I mumbled. When I looked up, I noticed they were all swarming this strange boy. He looked like a child but tall. Weird. 

"NOTICE ME OPPA!!"

"Jin is MINE!!!!"

"No, he's mine!!"

People screamed and yelled about him. Jin. Jin. Jin. I didn't like his name. He was overly popular for..being cute? I don't know. I rolled my eyes. This is like some Disney Channel show...

RING RING RING!!!

Oh. It was time for class. I headed to my locker and stuffed my necessities inside. I walked into the classroom.

"Late." The teacher groaned. I rolled my eyes and sat down in the only seat available. Next to Jin. I sighed. Of course, I would have to sit next to him.
