chapter 13: Puppy Crush

synopsis: Charlotte (12 years old) got this girl who's always staring at her, who knows? maybe this girl was already madly in love with her.

Charlotte's pov:

" That's how you're going to brush your teeth, are we clear kids? " It's a hot afternoon when I ended my discussion as i closed my visual aids, I'm currently lecturing about handwashing and toothbrushing here in my school, for elementary students.

I'm currently in 6th grade, a graduating student to be exact. I finished my lecture for Grade 5 section Neptune, and now i'm getting ready for section Saturn. When the class of Saturn went down from their building, they immediately waved at me and positioned themselves in front of me. When i felt a pair of brown eyes that were staring at me.

Do you know the feeling when looking at someone and seeing their eyes dilute as you stare back to them, seeing their eyes with mixtures of admiration, love and affection? That's what i'm feeling when i notice those eyes.

I turned back my gaze to my lecture as i started again.

" Shall we start? " and they all nodded, with me who's still shaking my thoughts from those eyes that were still staring at me.

As a AM session student, I managed to walked around the school for inspections every afternoon, I studied in the morning, and do my job for afternoon, Grade 6 is in AM session, while Grade 5 is in PM session. I'm also a part of Supreme Students Government. When i'm done inspecting section Neptune, I went down their building and made my way towards the building of Saturn and Uranus.

" Hey, we're going to their building, the one who's always staring at you was there. " My bestfriend, Nudee said as she walked beside me.

" I don't care. I'm going there to inspect, not to flirt.  " i replied, and went to section Saturn.

" Good morning maam, may i inspect this section for a short period of time, it's not going to take most of your time for sure. " I greeted.

" Sure, Ms. Austin, You may go. " she agreed.

As i walked inside the classroom, The tense atmosphere grown. I felt pair of eyes looking at me, actually all of them. But her eyes. It's sinking down my soul. I just ignored it and ended my inspection.
I thanked the teacher and walked out, ignoring my heart beating so fast because of an uncomfortable feeling.

The school got a program and i was here standing beside the students, Grade 5 students to be exact. The program was preparing when i saw student going down to go their respective place, And here they are. The section Saturn.

They went down and at the back of their line, i saw her. She looked at me and stared at me, Again. Until they went to their place, She's still looking for me. I wonder what is her name?

" Engfa. That's her name, She's been crushing over you for almost a year now. When we started teaching and lecturing for WINS. " Nudee talked as if she read what's on my mind.

" Engfa? What a good name... "

It's morning and grade 5 students were nowhere to found ofcourse, I was obliged to look for the section for that time. The AM session of grade 6, The ones who shared the room with Saturn. As i watching over them, I looked around out of boredness, I saw a family tree. Saturn's family tree.

I looked for the girl name " Engfa " in that family tree and there she is. Looking effortlessly gorgeous. I admired how confident and consistent she is to always stare at me to show that she cares for me whenever we have the chance to be with each other. Despite of the fact that she's in PM session while me was in AM.

And i guess maybe, i'm also having a crush with this girl.

The time goes and we still sometimes met each other and look, and it always go that way, we never tried to talk or what, Just being content that we saw each other, is a different level of consistency for me.

I graduated my elementary days without remembering to even say goodbye to her. I just enjoyed it and let it happened, i have my reasons but i don't wanna share what are those.

Now i'm a Grade 10 student, A graduating one again, I have the girl of my dreams. I suddenly remembered her. How good it felt to have someone who admire and adore me before.

Maybe someday we met again and, bid our hellos and proper goodbyes. Someday.

A/N: This story is inspired with your very own author's love life. This is based on my own puppy love and i thought " what if i made an englot shot for this ". This person just crossed my mind again and i reminisce things that we once did and i remembered. Well anyways, Yeah, Short story just wanna share one of the cutest love i've experienced.
