A strange man with dark hair had broken into the Potters home on October 31st of 1981. He killed the father James Potter first and then went to kill the two babies that were sitting in their cribs with their mother Lily Potter singing "Brahms Lullaby" to them and whipping their tears.
Everything else seemed to be over with two green flashes and the screams of Lily Potter as she protected her precious babies. And with that,Lily and James Potter laid dead on the floor of their home. Their two year old daughter Lillian June Potter and their one year old son Harry James Potter both sitting in their cribs sobbing at the sight in front of them.

Two other men entered the house that night. First Severes Snape and then Albus Dumbledore.
Severes was crying as he held his dear Lily Potter in his arm as her children continued to sob. Before he had entered the Potter's home he had notified Dumbledore of the odd man entering the house before hand. And that lead to Dumbledore finding Severes in this state of misery. After coxing Severes to leave Lily there, Dumbledore picked up little Harry and soothed him and took Harry out side where they were to call for Hagrid. Severes followed suit as he picked up the whining Lillian and shushed her back to sleep, cradling her in his arms.
Although while Harry's next 11 years of life had been quickly planned out by Dumbledore; Lillian's future still needed deciding.
"We shall send Harry to his aunt and uncle's on number 4 privet drive with Hagrid. And Minerva and I shall follow him there soon after." Dumbledore calmly said. "But what about- about Lil- Lilian?" Snape questioned in chocked sobs. Dumbledore looked over at Snape with his twinkling eyes and said "I'm afraid to say that that decision is up to you Severes. Seeing that Lily and James left you as her guardian. If you do not wish to raise the girl I'm sure we can find her a home. Perhaps with the Wood's, The Diggory's, or even the Scamander's." Snape looked at Dumbledore with pleading eyes that said he wanted to keep Lilian and raise her as his own, but he answered "I think that it is best for her to live with the Wood's. And I think it's in her best interest to also rename Lilian. To keep her safe." Dumbledore nodded his head and the replied "What do you want her name to be then?" Snape gazed down at Lilian who was sleeping soundly in his arms and whispered "June. To keep part of herself with her."

And with that June Elizabeth Wood, younger sister of Oliver Wood, was born.
