~PROLOGUE ~
Uff, Adah! Tumhari yeh aadatein na, ek din jaan le kar rahengi," he sighed with exaggerated exasperation, leaning back in his chair, watching her scribble furiously into her notebook. His fingers drummed against the desk, an amused smile dancing on his lips.
(Oh Adah! Your actions would on day take my life)
"Shut up and finish the gross file, Mr. Drama," she shot back, not even bothering to look up. Her eyes stayed glued to the diagram she was sketching, her strokes precise and methodical, but he didn't miss the slight twitch of her lips.
He studied her quietly for a moment, that smirk still playing on his face. "Why are you always so cranky, Adah?" he asked, his tone suddenly softer as he leaned a little closer, his elbow brushing hers just slightly.
"And why are you always flirting, Mr. Topper?" She didn't flinch, her voice sharp but steady as she met his gaze. Her eyes, framed by her glasses, glinted with a challenge, but there was something softer beneath the surface.
His smirk widened, a playful glint lighting up his eyes. "Maybe because this girl with spectacles has been keeping me up at night."
She froze for just a beat, the pencil in her hand stilled mid-air. Her heart gave a small, involuntary jump, and for a split second, the carefully maintained wall around her cracked. He saw the faint blush that crept up her cheeks, and it made his grin grow wider.
"You're impossible," she muttered, hastily gathering her books. She stood up abruptly, trying to maintain her composure. "Finish your own work, Mr. Flirt," she added, but her voice faltered ever so slightly, betraying the hint of a smile she was struggling to suppress.
Before he could say anything else, she turned on her heel and made a quick exit, her footsteps echoing in the empty classroom.
"Aree Adah! Tum to sharma gayi!" he called after her, unable to resist teasing her one last time. His laughter followed her as she hurried out, cheeks burning, though she couldn't help but smile to herself once she was out of his sight.
(Hey Adah! You got embarrassed!)He chuckled, shaking his head, staring at the doorway she had just walked through. "You make it so difficult for me to hate you, Adah," he murmured under his breath, a soft sigh escaping his lips. For a moment, he let his thoughts linger on her, the way her eyes sparked with defiance but softened when she wasn't looking.
Shaking his head, he turned back to his notes, though the faint smile that lingered on his lips betrayed that his mind was still very much on her.

Trust me, it's gonna be the most funniest book of mine with our favourite trope! Enemies to lovers! Also, methodically this should be the first book Doctor Series as it takes place when Aditya and Hriday are still in medical school lol. But let's not get into that.
