Just a few days ago, the weather had still been sunny, but now, I was uncertain what had transpired - suddenly, the climate had turned frigid, and during the nights, a bone-chilling wind howled.

Just as Biluo was entering with a basin of water, the room resounded with a loud crash.
"Young Master!" Her expression changed, and she hurried inside.

I struggled to sit up in bed, my clothes in disarray, unable to cover myself properly. Xu Yanqing, who stood at the bedside, was equally disheveled. Earlier, he had kicked over a chair, creating the loud noise. He paid no attention to the servants behind him and glared at me with an angry expression, his eyes burning with rage.

He coldly said, "Shen Jingting, have you had enough of your defiance?"

I lowered my gaze and remained silent. His eyes turned fiery red with anger, and he continued, "If you want to rest, I'll let you rest. If you don't want me to touch you, then I won't. These days, you've been all smiles with the servants but sulking in front of me..." He paused for a moment and then roared "Do you even realize that you belong to me?!!"

I stared at him, murmured softly "I didn't refuse." With his eyes still burning, Xu Yanqing sneered and said, "So, you're saying you're willing now?" He walked over, grabbed me, and forcefully kissed me. I stiffened and struggled, causing him to push me away abruptly. He grabbed my shoulders and demanded, "Is this what you wanted?"

I remained silent, and he yelled, "You don't speak, then. I'll make you speak!" He stormed over, pulled me closer, and forcefully kissed me again. I was shocked by his roar, and tears rolled down my face in fear.

Xu Yanqing's eyes turned red and he gritted his teeth and asked "Shen Jingting, let me ask you, are you so happy with Xu Changfeng or Xu Qihao?"

I looked at him with a pale face and opened my lips: "I..."

Biluo rushed over and knelt at Xu Yanqing's feet, pleading, "Second Master, please don't blame Young Master! He's been frightened by you. His health has just started to recover."

Xu Yanqing, with a look of fury in his eyes, abruptly let me go. He stood up, pushed past the servants, and walked out on his own.

I lay still for a while, and a few servants came in to clean up the mess. Biluo came over to my side, and with a worried expression, she called, "Young master." I snapped back to reality and shook my head gently, saying, "Tell them not to clean up."

I looked at her and whispered, "I think I need to lie down for a while."

Biluo nodded and left with the servants.

She blew out the candles and closed the door. I lay in the darkness, feeling like I was still trapped in a nightmare. No matter how many times I closed and reopened my eyes, I couldn't wake up. I tossed and turned in bed and eventually got up. I lit a candle and walked to the window.

There was no moon tonight, and the wind played with the wind chimes. Below them hung a wooden plaque with a poem:

"The flowers are ready for picking, so pick them, Don't wait until there are no flowers and only branches remain..."

For the next two days, I didn't see Xu Yanqing at all. I heard from the servants that after that night, he didn't return to the mansion.

I felt that the relationship between Xu Yanqing and me had reached a dead end. During this time, I was left in solitude, and it led me to recall how he had treated me when I first entered this household. Then I thought about how he had been with me during the heating period and how he had shown such care and tenderness, seeming like a completely different person.
